Seems they should be asking...”Are we politically correct idiots?” Yes comes to mind. Is it because of unconstitutional court decisions? Yes comes to mind.
No, psychotic suggests that he had a mental disorder. Radical Muslims are fully cognizant of what they are doing and fully believe that they can murder their way to heaven.
It wouldn’t be the first time a command dumped a problem on another command.
While many things in this sad saga make NO sense to many of us, the thing that stands out like a turd in a pan of milk is that he got PROMOTED when everyone from Texas to Bethesda, MD knew this guy was a pain in *ss, did his job poorly and spouted anti-American rhetoric. How in tarnation did THAT happen??
For sure
And in private business too, where trial lawyers have made it much easier to move problem employees to someone else's jurisdiction than to fire them.
Serious response. That is such a redundant question.
That he is muslim has already been answered!
Some Heads should roll at Walter Reed....
Or maybe this is the attempt to get him into the Civilian Court System...MAYBE?

I had long wondered why people on the Left had the propensity to speak more positively about people who would slit their throats than they do about their own country, which affords them more freedom and opportunity than anywhere else. David Horowitz has answered that question thoroughly and convincingly in his Unholy Alliance. Where I felt bewildered and confused, I now feel crystal clear. Unholy Alliance is such a great book.
It begins with the leftist movements at the beginning of the 20th Century, and works its way up to the present day, exploring the anti-American attitude of these movements in detail. Horowitz shows that the enemies of the US back then are largely the same group today, operating under the same misperceptions, making the same mistakes, and pursuing the same impossible utopia.
Thanks for the ping! Do you think it’s possible they are using the word “pyschotic” instead of an extremist jihadist because it’s less politically incorrect?
“So, they promoted him after discussing whether he was psychotic???”
Just because you’re psychotic doesn’t mean you can’t be a good shrink.
(yes, I’m being facetious...but that may have been one line of reasoning
used by the officials...
H-ll, nothing suprises me when Obama is on the watch)
Is some body falling on their sword to help the Leftist's cause....
Something is sure as H**l going on!
So how is it that NPR has this story?
“And yet the U.S. Army promoted this Islamist lunatic to MAJOR! “
From some snippets I’ve heard on radio, it appears that in the Medical
services of the military, at least some promotions are just about automatic,
IIRC, to captain as soon as you pass medical school cirriculum.
And I think I heard some else say that since Hasan wasn’t in Leavenworth
(no criminal offenses), he was automatically promoted to major
upon becoming board-certified in psychiatry.
I’m a never-served civilian, so I do invite those with deeper
knowledge of military promotion to correct any errors I made with
this report.
Thirteen of America's finest were murdered in cold blood because of political correctness.
That's just sick.
Didn't Hasan just go through a complete battery
of psychological testing as he became a practicing psychiatrist. ?
Or someone protecting him for a later mission!
My statement at #58,,,,is with my tinfoil on....and after all of the stuff I’m reading ...I keep thinking of some of the Mission Impossible shows I use to watch regularly!
The decision to “promote him out” would be a typical government tactic; military or civilian. The appeal rights of any person who has “status” - especially if they are a “protected” minority - are very cumbersome and time consuming.
A number of years ago I worked at a job in the Veterans Administration. I had a bipolar supervisor that was still on Supervisory Probation. We had everything clearly documented and were ready to proceed with termination. Even so, the assistant hospital director decided it would be easier to “promote her out.” I left long before that occurred (it took about 3 years), but that’s exactly what they did. In the meantime, her actions were quite damaging. They left it for the next VA hospital to do the dirty work, but without the probationary period.
