Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman, Michael Steele inadvertently flipped the light on for Obama faithful, Chris Matthews host of MSNBC Hardball. Although it was on, it was too dim for Matthews to see the entire picture.
Matthews started his interview with Steele by peppering his questions with insulting statements, calling conservatives wing-nuts. It didnt take long for Steele to stop the questions and address the statement, asking why Matthews kept calling his people wing-nut?
Then Steele turned the wing-nut to the far left.
Steele: What about all the left-wing-nuts who wont let the president get his agenda through? What about all the left-wing-nuts that are the reason we dont have health care right now? Youve got 60 votes in the Senate, youve got 78 seat majority in the House, and I dont see anyone talking about the left-wing-nuts who are stifling the health care for my mother and my family and my community. So dont give me the name calling here.
Thats when the light came on. Well, at least a flicker.

Chris Matthews is a dim bulb. His light will never come on.
I think Chris is an alcoholic..he displays all the tendencies.
this is exactly why left wing talk radio and MSNBC etc have no one interested in them.
Instead of using facts and saying how it is form their view they decide to come out with names after names after names and it turns folks off.
They’ll sit there like little kids calling names tons of times instead of addressing the issues, then they start giggling like little kids again.
If they took a step back and watched themselves they would see how cringeworthy they are
Michael Steele looked like he was about to punch Tim Kaine on “This Week” this morning.
THAT IS WRONG-HEADED. We've always had health care! When has this country not had doctors and nurses???? By "health care," he means some kind of government-administered animal regarding insurance. And he seems to think some such thing should already be in place!
Most shocking is that Steele would criticize any success at stifling this president from "[getting] his agenda through." He's blaming that on left-wing nuts almost as if it's a bad thing!!!
GET THIS GUY OUTTA HERE!!!
his voice and his regional philly accent get on my nerves he’s tough to listen to
Matthews spent too much time relieving the thrill up Tip O’Neill’s leg....
Boy, I do’ know. Does Matthews feel tingling in his inner thighs talking to Michael Steele?
If Matthews were married to Michael Schiavo, he'd be dead.
Yea..well..I’m sure he was a drinker when he hung with his old boss, Tip O’Neill who was a famous practicing drunk. Chris just looks unhappy and mean and miserable all the time. What a way to live.
Hello, McFly!! Hello! Anybody home?
Here's the light bulb - and it should be coming on for Republicans who think their "leader" has their interests.
Your mother doesn't have health care, Mr. Steele? Buy some for her, chump!
Don't help the leftists insist that I pay for it.
If he did, my impression of him would improve exponentially.
They live in a fantasy world.
I thought Michael was talking about the left wanting to trim his mother’s Medicare.
Steele needs to stop talking about the 'big tent'
Not only is Matthews obviously a substance abuser, drink or drugs, but there seems to be no one in his life who cares enough to initiate an intervention.
Think I owe him an apology?
Tipsy O’Neil taught Chrissie how to drink but he never got around the teaching him how to stop....
He’s married to a “journalist”, so no help there....
well..when you’re a practicing alcoholic you stop when you die.
Michael Steele being interviewed by Chris Matthews looks like “Dumb and Dumber” to me. Steele can’t debate from a conservative perspective to save his life, and Matthews is too busy being smarmy and self-serving to acknowledge anyone’s opinion unless it corresponds to his own.
I watched the entire segment.
That wasn't much of a Epiphany, more like a 5 watt bulb being turned on
Years ago I really enjoyed Matthews show. I think his diabetes has affected his mental acuity besides a strong dose of mind numbing liberalism. He sure has become a major jerk in the last few years

Sadly, the tingle that ran up little Chrissies leg during the Obama campaign went all the way up to his head, blowing his tiny vestigial brain out his left ear. Given the many times Chrissie has gladly taken it in the ear for his pals on the left, the size of that orifice made the blowout inevitable. The scar reveals that he DID have a transplant. Unfortunately, it was the cryogenically preserved brain of Lyndon Baines Johnson and turned out to be even smaller than the original organ, probably because as with nearly ALL Democrats -- it had never been used.
Steele is always making remarks that sound like they are out of the Democrat play book. The Repubicans should be helping him find other employment.
North vs. South? Slavery vs. Freedom? Be prepared citizens. Be prepared.
WHAT? Steele was lamenting that B.O. hadn’t gotten government run health care rammed through yet?
OMGosh. The inmates are definitely running the asylum.
I wish I could have seen that. I’ll have to youtube it.
Again, I really think he was baiting him. Surly he was not serious. I thought he was playing the devils advocate.
Boy, I wish I would have come up with that line.
Tim Kaine was running his mealymouth, refusing to let Steele get a word in edgewise, and placed his hand around Steele’s wrist, a gesture meant to control Steele. Well Michael Steele physically and noticeable removed Kaine’s hand from his wrist. Kaine’s rudeness could hardly go unnoticed and frankly maybe he would’ve learned something had Steele punched him.
I know he’s married. Maybe I wasn’t clear.
Oh, I wasn’t saying you didn’t know...she’s very attractive. She’s a writer, yes?
hmm..maybe he’s on medication..that can make you nutso..Like Olbermann. I am convinced that he has severe head trauma from an accident he had several years ago. He ran into a steel girder. I think the has mental problems because of it. He has the classic symptoms of anti-social head trauma.
lol..that fembot made up word used to simply shut men up and invented mostly by women who can't get a man anyhow doesn't get much use on a conservative forum...but be my guest
What was that book written by that lib Jewish chick in the 80s called.....Men Who Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them...utter ribbish but the first time I heard that codespeak.
of those only Coulter, North , Malkin and Limbaugh are the only true social conservatives...I’d give a lot of credence to although the others do offer us some morsels on occasion
I’m 52, don’t know how old you are but prior to political correctness that word was hardly ever used and the context is exponentially more often used to argue for women in combat, gender politics, glass ceilings, pro-abortion etc....the litany of fembot stuff rather than as a weapon to bash Islam or black urban culture...which granted when used in that context if more often the province of the right.
btw...it is not used much here except by angry women and social mods
so what was yer name before July dear?
Not sure why you are being defensive or insecure. You made an assertion that I proved was false. Beyond that, your follow up point isn’t clear.
my point was crystal clear:
the term misogynist regardless of it's ancient etymology which btw also had nothing to do with feminism either is a word that is 99% of the time codespeak for whiny, strident fembots of the Steinhem/Faludi school. When I hear that word used in the context you FIRST used it that's what I am reminded of much like when I see the words DIVERSITY, ECOSYSTEM, or TOLERANCE used to defend one’s side of a discussion...and sadly when some conservatives stoop to turning that word on the left it doesn't detract from that intent regardless of the fine character of the person using it in that particular case. It's like when a decent person points out real racism. Like me saying I think Jeremiah Wright is a black racist...which I do but usually folks who claim racism are the same ilk who claim misogyny...the identity politics folks on the left and misogyny is over gender victimhood for womyn.
My contention that the word misogynist was first brought into popularity in the mid 80s by fembots is without question.
One last note, challenging your assertions you make here on this forum does not make one insecure or defensive by deafult .
It's pretty much the nature of the beast unless we're have a circle back slap over the evils of Islam or our love of Sarah Palin or hatred of Bro.
Maybe you are too young to remember before the word was used like it is and are unaware of the most used context. Do you ever wonder why nobody says misandrist?
mSteele said THAT? WTH is he thinking?
lol...you really are new here.
remember this exchange...I bet you will clash sabers over social issues down the road...
Bill Safire God bless him, may he rest in peace was a David Brooks conservative...which ain’t much of one.
You can have the last word...you’re being obtuse claiming not to get my clarified and reclarified point.
You should get on well with Hildy, God love her.
