The American people need to send a stronger message to Washington...we are not paying any more tax money until you stop passing laws we do not want. We need to get everyone who has withholding tax to change it to zero NOW! Stop paying any federal taxes until Congress starts listening to us. We can bankrupt them in a month if we act fast and furious.

Even this ever becomes law, I intend to do everything I can to sabotage and gum up the system. I intend to file hundreds, maybe thousands, of applications to the government “option” under false names, ss number's, and addresses. Even though I have insurance anyway, I'm going to take a big black magic marker and “redact” the entire section regarding health insurance on my 1040 before I mail it in.

I already claim zero .. in fact, you should claim 10 or more, not zero.

I claim zero, because it’s like a savings account to me .. and I always get back at least $700-800 every year.

However, if you claim 9 or more, you get to keep almost all your paycheck (unless of course you’re lucky enough to live in CA). This can be dangerous though if you’re not paying attention .. if you leave your deductions that high all year, you will owe lots and lots of taxes, and they will hound you until you pay it .. or they’ll attach your wages.

Furthermore, since the govt has only spent 16% of the stimulus money .. they won’t run out any day soon.

So, how do you get along with socialism/communism, a.k.a. slavery? A jail sentence will eventually end, communist tyranny takes decades, if ever, to end.

I've never been in jail, but if it means fighting to take back the country....yeah!....I'll go first.

But, you go ahead and hang out at the house...at least as long as they let you have a house. Enjoy the bread lines (I think jail food is probably better).

Of course! I know that.

I also have a regular savings account at my bank which gives me a whopping .25% if I’m lucky.

I also have another account which earns me on average of about 12%.

But .. I gave my warning because I used the 9 or more deductions and although my employer was supposed to change it back half-way through the year - they didn’t, and I ended up with a huge tax bill that I had to borrow the money to pay off. Because of that, I’d rather claim zero and that way I don’t have to worry about it.

I’m not a govt hater like some here .. I just don’t trust the current bunch in office. But .. I consider it shear ignorance to tell people that changing to zero keeps any money from the govt.

Could the civil disobedience proposed be carried out in a way that would prevent Geithner’s IRS from confiscating assets and bankrupting the protestors instead of the govt? Or along with the govt, which unlike us, could just go on printing more worthless money? I’m for it, but when crooks with no consciences make, interpret, and enforce the laws, civil disobedience feels a lot like a wet noodle.
