So the fact Hasan was in same mosque in Virginia that two of 911 hijackers attended with a firebrand Imam back in 2001 had no effect with Hasan at all. Kind of like Obama’s 20 plus years under Jeremiah Wright where he heard nothing or saw nothing.
Well we had a 911 because Democrats want to treat terror as a criminal activity.

Back around 1968-69 MAD Magazine or CRACKED magazine did a spoof on how the movies about Pearl Harbor and were becoming more PC.

The final frame of these cartoons showed FDR bowing to Emperor Hirohito and apologizing for our ships blowing up and damaging the hearing of the Japanese pilots flying overhead.

It was at OU in Norman — you mean the ‘lone suicide bomber’ with the Pakistani roommate that only blew up the upper part of his body but the bench he was sitting on was blown into small pieces. There is another little detail like it took Norman PD bomb disposal 18 trips to the bomb disposal area because if they took it all at once it would blow up a city block. When they blew it all up it shook my home and rattle my windows five miles away. Did I mention they found a map to NYC on the right side of his vehicle and that a good friend worked in the stadium.

Just like that little backpack that blew up shook everything on campus.

My confidence in what the authorities have to say was severely shaken and have not been the same since. The dumbest comment about the OU bomber was about three weeks after he was blown up, they came out and said they had found a suicide note on his hard drive like they hadn’t looked at the computer in three weeks.

We also have a terrorist FBI office now in Norman and the white collar crime unit no longer exists here but he was only a “lone suicide bomber” who had spent three months in Pakistan. We had cameras installed at all gates by a federal grant the week after the bombing but there was nothing to it all.

What I just read on this thread is the same BS they fed all of us here in OK.

Security is also tighter at the OU games this year then it has been since the year of the bombing.

Good point. On that level it *will* take a generation or two to re-educate the demographically much different populace that the color-blind Constitutional principles work for everybody. Time alone will help some but we need to mount a multi-generational effort to re-teach the Constitution since it's not happening in the schools.

Just goes to show ya, Levin is a genius and some of us ain't!
