Muslims at Fort Hood voice outrage (More excusing the terrorist)

Leaders of the vibrant Muslim community here expressed outrage on Friday at the shooting rampage being laid to one of their members, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who had become a regular attendee of prayers at the local mosque.

But some of the men who had befriended Major Hasan at the mosque said the military should examine the policies that might have caused him to snap.

“Ultimately it was Brother Nidal’s doing, but the command should be held accountable,” Mr. Benjamin said. “G.I.’s are like any equipment in the Army. When it breaks, those who were in charge of keeping it fit should be held responsible for it.”

This is the second story I've seen today focusing on inflammatory "muslim reactions."

There were hours between the shooting and the first news briefing. Homeland Security, the DoD and the FBI knew for SIX MONTHS that Major Hasan was an ambivalant Muslim (to say the least!) who should no longer have been on the active duty roster. Someone higher up had to have ordered “hands off Major Hasan”. Who is in charge of cabinet-level Department Secretaries? President Barack Hussein Obama II.

This act of terror is every bit his responsibility as that of the man who perpetrated it at Fort Hood.

The warning signs were there, with Hasan’s “Death to America” rants. Yet the emasculated military command was too scared and PC indoctrinated to do anything about it. Clearly there is a section in UCMJ that should have been used to strip him of rank and send him to the brig for a few years - much further than Article 15.
Yet how much you wanna bet that Fort Hood will now have to endure untold amounts of “sensitivity training” to accomodate those officers and enlisted (who have no place in the armed services) who choose to spew “Death to America” rants, then eventually acting on such rants. And CIC Zero would appoint a czar to oversee such re-education. Presto, a purge of the military! Those who don’t comply either don’t re-enlist, or get discharged due to “attitude problems”. And the jihadis who remain and are accommodated by the system take care of the rest. Uncle Joe would be so proud.

Eh. I wonder if these are some of the same "vibrant" muslims I run into time from time in Walmart. They usually stay to themselves together in groups mumbling among themselves and if any of the guys do look up and around at you there's a brief deliberate challenging stare before looking off somewhere else. The old ones on the electric shopping carts are a menace - they expect you to just leap out of the way. I was sitting on a bench in the store one evening while waiting for someone else when some garbed-up old woman came buzzing by at warp speed. I had my right leg propped up on my left knee and the basket on the cart caught the toe of my boot and it went tunka-tunka-tunka across the basket tines like a stick across a picket fence - the old bat never slowed down, said sorry or kiss my a$$, just kept going like absolutely nothing ever happened. Scuffed the very end of the sole that was protruding out, otherwise no damage. They earn their s####y reputation honestly, every single day.
