Democratic consultant says he got a warning from White House after appearing on Fox News

Reporting from Washington - At least one Democratic political strategist has gotten a blunt warning from the White House to never appear on Fox News Channel, an outlet that presidential aides have depicted as not so much a news-gathering operation as a political opponent bent on damaging the Obama administration.

Political consultants are a staple of cable television talk shows, analyzing current events based on their own experiences working on campaigns or in government.

One Democratic strategist said that shortly after an appearance on Fox, he got a phone call from a White House official telling him not to be a guest on the show again. The call had an intimidating tone, he said.

Don Fowler, a former Democratic National Committee chairman, said in an interview: "This approach is out of sync with my conception of what the Obama administration stands for and what they're trying to do. Doug Scoen is one democrat consultant who is typically hard-line left but lately has been more honest about this administration when I have seen him on Hannity. He is a reasonable liberal. Kirsten Powers is a loyal liberal but generally a reasonable person who unlike most leftists, conducts herself with decency. I haven’t seen much of Susan Estrich on Fox lately, but when I have, she also has been critical of Obama.

Steve Murphy is a pants wetter who complained about two against one the other day on a panel with two smoking hot women, Angela McGlowan, and anchor Jamie Colby. He is insufferably drunk on left-wing kool-aid so we know it’s not him.

I have to disagree with Sean on this one. The real reason it was presented this year is that the prize committee decided that Obama needed a Nobel Peace Prize on his resume, and this was the best year to do that because....
