Killeen Muslim Leader Had a Bad Feeling About Ft. Hood Gunman
KWTX News Television ^ | November 7, 2009

Posted on 11/07/2009 12:31:05 PM PST by NorwegianViking

FORT HOOD (November 7, 2009)--A Muslim leader in Killeen says Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the Army psychiatrist suspected of going on a shooting rampage Thursday at Fort Hood, asked him for advice on what he should tell soldiers who had concerns about going to fight Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Osman Danquah, who is a co-founder of the Islamic Community of Greater Killeen, said he had a bad feeling about Hasan after the two talked twice in late summer.

He told The Associated Press Saturday that Hasan regularly attended services at the mosque in his uniform.

Danquah said Hasan never mentioned any anger toward the Army or indicated he had any plans for violence, but said he seemed incoherent during their second conversation.

Danquah said he told Hasan that there was "something wrong with you."

Authorities say before the shooting rampage Thursday, Hasan cleaned out his apartment, gave food to a neighbor and thanked another for his friendship, common courtesies of a departing soldier.

Investigators have examined Hasan's computer, his home and his garbage.

Relatives say Hasan felt harassed as a Muslim but was not an extremist, but a recent classmate said Hasan once gave a jarring presentation in which he argued the war on terrorism was a war against Islam.

Many Islamic leaders say the Fort Hood shooting could pose the sternest test for U.S. Muslims since the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Muslims nationwide expressed shock, anger and fear that efforts to erase anti-Islamic stereotypes could erode in the wake of the shooting.

The confirmation of Hasan's faith has prompted major Muslim groups and mosques to condemn the killings and praise the service of Muslim Americans in the U.S. military, but some Muslims say they are weary of apologizing for others' actions.

Hasan was transferred Friday from Scott & White Hospital in Temple to Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

Hasan is now being treated at Brooke Army Medical Center at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio where he was reported to be in stable condition. It is concerning that some Muslims in the U.S. are actually joyous about the tragedy, yet others are sympathetic.

That's an incredibly specific thing that "mushlims nationwide said", writer. Are you sure you didn't just make that up on the spot?

Reasonable people will realize the facts. Every follower of the koran is a WALKING TIME BOMB.

For some odd reason, I just don’t believe this “religious” man. Seems to me he is deflecting, or trying to deflect, anger against the Muslim “religion of peace”.

With over 15,000 Muslims in our military, I think some sort of oath and clarification is necessary for all to see and abide by, especially since we have Muslim clergy in our military too.

They just had a discussion with a shrink, on Fox. The whole thing was premised on Hasan being stressed out, traumatized. The spin is in. They’ll stand on their heads to see it as PTSD, fault of the war, the army, America, Christians, and George Bush.

"It is concerning that some Muslims in the U.S. are actually joyous about the tragedy..." - NorwegianViking

Let me start this by stating that I am not disagreeing with your statement. I have no knowledge regarding those that are either joyous or sympathetic, so I am not qualified to make a statement at all. But, I need your help in that I am wanting to document these "joyous" Muslims. I am not trying to stir anything up... I am keeping track of situations like this by collecting verifiable stories (such as the news articles from when the Hamas sypathizers were partying in the streets of Dearborn when Israel was getting rocketed back in 2006.) Can you help by providing a link to some of these sources regarding those that are celebrating this trajedy here in the U.S.? I am trying to save stories like this so that I can show others what is really going on in our country when they deny my statements as being factual.

Thanks,
Raven6

Hasan must have had what is now known as “The Delayed Reaction Syndrome” he had stress before even stepping foot in Iraq or Afghanistan. Maybe I have PTSD too, Ive seen those TV specials showing soldiers who have been injured. Perhaps I have PTSD as well. We might all have it. Never stepped foot in Iraq or Afghanistan but heck, if Hasan can have it, we all can. The media just can’t admit this guy was a TERRORIST who killed in the name of Allah. What is so hard to understand. He is no different then Mohammed Attah and the other hijackers on 9/11

They are here in the USA, and those teachings flourish here. They are secret. Every POS imam in the USA knows about them, knows who teaches them, and they funnel the annointed to those who teach the secret prayers of the Mujahid.

Here is a video that I watched earlier from a FR link. To see that Muslims are advancing their cause for jihad on the streets of New York City, is almost too much for me today....I would call this an act of treason. Hope this helps and thanks for your time, devotion to the U.S. and effort in your research. I would certainly appreciate it, that as you progress, you would send me what you find. Thank you.

Here is the link to the video. I wish that I was better at HTML. Sorry, if the link is not clickable. I have tried before, but unsuccessfully, mayby someone can repost it as a clickable link.

Just once. I made a mistake with it, The rest are formated.

LOL.

But it is not screed. Its true.

And I will continue to put the same info on every thread I can.

You want me to rewrite it?

Change a few descriptive adjectives? Add some asinine allegorical alliteration perhaps

LOL.

Try this:

Well you know its hard for Americans to understand that religious fervor is not derangement. He was not in fact deranged, which implies he was out of control. This man Hasan was calm and methodical, he was conducting the religious ritual of a Mujihad, knowing that if he died, both he and his victims would join before Allah in heaven.

That's hard for us to wrap our minds around, but he was not deranged at all.

Take a look:

Witnesses described Hasan, who was wearing an Army uniform during the assault, as steely calm. He paused only to reload one of his handguns.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/2009/11/06/2009-11-06_susptected_gunman_in_fort_hood_shooting_maj_nidal_malik_hasan_shouted_allah_akba.html

(Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Tex.) )She said he targeted specific people as he stalked through a deployment center, two handguns blazing.* (Senator Hutchison took notes from people who were at the scene, knowing the facts would be spun.)

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/2009/11/05/2009-11-05_army_base_massacre_at_least_seven_people_dead_in_mass_shooting_at_fort_hood_in_t.html

“It was very deliberate in his approach, they said that he was calm,” Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone, the base commander at Fort Hood, told “Good Morning America” today.

“He was shooting people more than once if he could,” said Cone.

http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/fort-hood-shooter-maj-nidal-malik-hasan-calm/story?id=9012995

Munley took down a stone, cold killer, who was fully in control of himself, a Mahujadine blazing with the inner spiritual fire of Allah, pure evil. That makes her deed all the more heroic.Allah and Jehovah in that sense had a shoot out, and Jehovah got the drop on Allah.Stopped him cold.
That makes her accomplishment all the more significant. And the Muzzies are trembling over it, as well they should.

God almighty did send an angel, and she was victorious.
God bless her and keep her.She is every American patriot. The nation is full of us.

Prayers up for those who lost their loved ones to this religious genocide.

And Muslims, become Americans or LEAVE! Turn in every jihadi you know, turn in every POS Imam you have who preaches jihad against America.

At least, you now know to format it before you inflict it upon us again...

Is IS an act of treason.

During the Civil War or during World War II, any citizen advocating attacks against U.S. troops in the middle of a public street would have been tried and convicted of treason.

The First Amendment does not trump the Constitution's definition of treason as the act of "giving aid and comfort to the enemy".

I am more convinced every day that America has evolved into a country that is simply just too stupid to survive the 21st Century.

Initially I noted that Hasan asked his religious leader what to tell muslim soldiers who want to know ‘what to do’ if they are sent to fight other muslims in Iraq or Afghanistan. I thought ‘oh great - more enemy sympathizers?!’. Then I read this quote from a more recent thread “In the Koran, you’re not supposed to have alliances with Jews or Christian or others, and if you are killed in the military fighting against Muslims, you will go to hell.” That puts a new light on it, doesn’t it. An American soldier who is a muslim fears that they will go to hell if they fight in the current conflicts?

Sorry, but I will no longer be tolerant. The most telling thing that damns Islam, is the fact that they are unable to condemn the individuals, only the actions. As a Catholic I condemn the priests in my faith that molest children, they do not have my sympathy. There is no place for them in my faith. Members of Islam fail to condemn the criminals within their own faith. I acknowledge that the Catholic church has failed, on some levels, to deal with their problems, openly and publicly. It is done, however, out of respect for the privacy of the individuals that are affected. That, and the fact that they deal with these issues in civil litigation. I assure you the Catholic church does not condone such behavior. The majority of those who practice Islam, openly celebrate the criminal actions of some of their members. Once again, pay close attention, they never critisize the individual. If they were too critisize these individuals, that would mean that their faith bears some responsibility for their actions. One must also remember that these actions are perpetrated in the name of Islam. Sad, really, because the first step to fixing a problem, is acknowledging that that problem exists. This will never happen, because all Muslims believe their faith to be the most pure. There is no wrong in Islam. They believe that all others must convert. If we choose not too, they believe we should perish. They are simply working behind the scenes, biding their time, and attempting to affect change from within. I ask this; If a Christian church or Synagoque, is not allowed in Mecca, then why should a Mosque be allowed here?

Maybe they should be more worried about Americans, assuming they self-identify as such?

But no, Muslims are only worried about themselves.

There should be NO Muslims in the US military, and I think all Muslims who live in the US should have to assess their lives and decide whether they accept our Christian principles (free will and Divinely endowed human rights) or whether they’d be happier back in whatever 7th century Islamic pit they came from.

Thank you for expressing your feelings about the molestors in the Catholic faith. I think your contrast of the two religions, Islam and Catholicism, is absolutely correct. When you said that they consider Islam a “pure” religion...there is no room for finding fault in their sytem of brainwashing. It does not seem right to me either that they can have mosques here and everywhere, but we cannot have churches. Christians are killed every day in some areas of the world by Muslims, simply for being Christians. This is NOT RIGHT!

but some Muslims say they are weary of apologizing for others' actions.

I just bet the dead people's parents and children are weary about now too. And the wounded, struggling to overcome their pain and to survive, are probably fairly fatigued at the moment as well.

Look, Muslim leaders. EXPLAIN the Koran to all of us, to your followers and flocks, and to non-Muslims. Explain which are necessary deeds and which things are not to be taken literally. Make public speeches in which this is carefully explained, and show the difference between a good Muslim and a terrorist. DO NOT FORGET TO EXPLAIN the part of the Koran where it says you can lie to infidels in order to fight and kill them.

We do not care if you are tired. Do it.

He’s a psychiatrist, therefore can write prescriptions for drugs. I wouldn’t be surprised if they find out psychotropic drugs were involved.

Excellent point about being able to prescribe drugs to himself. That would certainly make interesting research. I started noticing a while back that wherever there was a military base, there were many Muslims......wonder who orchestrated that one?

Well you and I both have views that stretch across long periods of time. Many folks don’t look back more than a few days, nor any more forward that the next pay check.

Thats the way many live now.

We know where this is going with a lot more detail than many, and suffer the slings and arrows of those who do not really want to hear it.

Truth has a way of offending many, especially when it becomes wide spread.

One has to cultivate a sense of humor about it, just as say, Merlin did. LOL.

I live among many who believe it is okay to lie. I just use a little logic and reject many statements. My reaction to his telling the murderer that something is wrong with him, has been rejected.

I expect the 'slings and arrows' to become more prolific as time passes and more information reaches the mainstream. I'm ready...
