Carla Fiorina's been (officially) on the campaign trail for, what, three days and it's like she's already wearing the GOP Senate crown. Boxer, Boxer, Boxer, Boxer, Boxer. That's the only opponent she can talk about.
Hey Carly, where's the respect for Chuck D from the OC, aka her GOP primary opponent Orange County Assemblyman Chuck DeVore? At her Pleasanton stop Friday, C-Fi was asked why she keeps talking about Boxer and not Chuck:
"She is the opponent," Carly said and laughed.
Uh, perhaps -- if you win the GOP primary in June. ..
...
Carly's staff must have hid the last Field Poll from her. That's the one where she dropped 10 points in six months in her match-up with DeVore and is now in a virtual dead heat (21 for her, 20 for him) in the latest go-round.

She’s a good example of the problem. I wouldn’t do it, but Republicans like her make me want to vote Democrat just to send a message to the RNC that RINOs lose BIG TIME.
My experience at HP under Carly was not good. No way could I vote for her.
Why do you want money spent on DeVore attack ads? That doesn’t make sense to me.
Why do people like her run for office?

Thanks to our award-winning muslim Kenya born illegal alien president Barry Soetoro, the Conservative base, the Silenced Majority, is energized and chomping at the bit waiting for 2010. NJ and VA are the appetizers for the main course, which is the overthrow of Barbara Boxer in 2010. And the base will want nothing to do with RINOs like Carly.
Secondly, and more importantly, the power elite need a rich puppet, and a rich puppet with a vagina is more intriguing from a sales point of view. Of course the product is shallow, but packaging is what they hope can sell (fool) the people.
1-Focusing on Boxer is a very smart campaign move.
2-Carly is a very good example of we conservatives having to accept the political reality, that she’s the only candidate that can beat Boxer.
3-If this upsets you, show me Chuck’s numbers....
Better a worthless, scumbag Democrat than her.
In a primary, I would rather that the various candidates from my party focus in on the opposite party and not vilify each other. When people from the same party demonize each other, it only serves to give ammo to the opposition.
I don’t know much about these two, I am not in a position to vote for either, but I would rather hear why Boxer should be defeated and why Candidate A or B would be best to defeat her and represent those constituents.
a very good example of we conservatives having to accept the political reality,
wow, guess I better just rollup in a fetal position,, it’s all over per that comment.
Not a Tea Partier, eh? ;-)
I will vote third party before I vote for her for dog catcher.
Chuck, of course, has no numbers - he's the typical white male social conservative that Team Boxer has had no problem walking all over in previous elections - appealing to Orange County and nowhere else. They'll find out he visited a strip club once in his thirties, declare him a hypocrite, and win by twenty points. Find a Hispanic woman with the same political views as Chuck and she might have a chance.
Carly Fiorina is not someone I particularly want to see in the Senate, but at least she might make Boxer work a little bit harder this year.
DeVore's numbers climb as people get to know him, and the Fiorina's numbers are dropping as people get to know her.
Yes a “Tea-Partyer”.
And a political realist.
Do you want Boxer out or not?
You support more susan collins and olympia snowes in the senate? wow
political reality.. lol
She’ll never survive the primary, no pun intended.
I support getting Boxer out.
Show me the evidence that Chuck can do that funny boy.
why the ‘insults’?
funny boy? I be dead series.
she has a little thing called a primary which her and the ca gop leadership would like to ignore like they did for arnie..
you want to hug moderates at a time when they do little except gum up the works.. be my guest, a bump is a bump after all.
some comedian (albeit more like a moderate in disguise) you are. ;-)
btw, how the heck is colorado doing , got any Rs running anything there lately?
My daughter worked for HP for 15 years and has nothing nice to say about this woman. Evidently she was not a good thing for the company.
I sent Doug Hoffman $100 for his NY 23 bid.
List 20 Conservative issues and I’ll be to the right of you.
I want Boxer OUT!
(also, represented my precinct in the 08 elections, and spent plenty of money in the process)
They never learn, do they? I mean, we’ve seen this show before enough times, that if someone is still supporting the RINO strategy, you have to wonder what their goal really is.
Hey send Devore some dough too.. it’s for a good cause. :-]
Oh Grow up!
Read my Post #25.
I fought as hard as anyone to keep BO out.

I'll bet you supported Shwarzenegger too, on the theory that he was better than Gray Davis. The growth in spending INCREASED compared to Davis subsequent to budgets Arnold submitted. The deficit DOUBLED. Our debt DOUBLED. Republicans will take the blame despite a Slave Party legislature. Arnold socialized water totally, implemented a "Sierra Nevada Conservancy" Davis vetoed and forced through crippling carbon regulations. He signed virtually every major "gay privileges" bill and signed draconian restrictions on buying ammunition.
In short, the RINO implemented policies a Democrat with opposition never could have passed.
Fiorina supports cap and trade. She supports global governance. She supports open borders. She is pro gun control. How is it to the benefit of conservative principles to have her in the Senate when Boxer makes such an outstanding example of the bankruptcy of virtually the same policies, funny boy?
“Fiorina supports cap and trade. She supports global governance.”
Based on what?
It's a matter of record that Fiorina backed McCain's version of cap and trade. In fact, she has even criticized Boxer for failing to pass C&T legislation as indication of her "ineffectiveness."
So, as a strong adherent of logic and consistency, you didn’t vote for McCain either?
So as a strong adherent of logic and consistency, you have to change the subject. Fiorina is every bit as bad as Boxer, if not as stupid. That might mean she's worse.
YOU are the one who cited Fiorina’s support for McCain’s version of cap ‘n trade as the basis for asserting her “globalist” views.
If your references are not logically consistent, don’t blame me.
