My first thread so please forgive if I've done this wrong.
I'm not an activist but feel so passionately about what Democrats (and some Rhinos) are doing concerning healthcare and Cap and trade bills I'm about to become an activist.
I'd like to keep track of who's supporting and who's on the fence over these bills. I intend to campaign for their opponents if they cave.

I'll write letters, make phone calls, volunteer or do whatever I can but I am not going to sit by this next election and be content to just cast my vote for my own guys here in Alabama: Sessions and Shelby, my senators And Spencer Bachus is my House Rep. Can't complain there.
I appreciate any and all help keeping people like me informed on who sells out, who stands fast

I have gone to DC twice in as many months. I have become an activist, with no intention of stopping until this bill is in the garbage dump.

I’ve already written letters to AARP on behalf of my dh and myself to please stop sending me stuff. (I’m 50) I’ll not be joining. Told em to please stop e-mailing stuff to me and no more phone calls also. And I explained the reason = they sold the elderly out.
I think politicians have angered alot of people. It did my heart good to see the passion at the Townhall meetings and tea parties. I know many who’ve never attended stuff like that before in their lives, but they attended local tea parties. I checked FR several times daily keeping up with these stoies and imho those politicians ignore the anger at their peril.
My perfect dream is to see Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Kerry, Murtha, Lindsey Graham, Rangel, Dodd. Out. There are a few others but too early yet to remember their names, They’ve done enough damage to last years. Can we not get rid of them!? lol

I just realized that the vote had been done last night and passed. And they’ll all probably be re-elected back into office.
So disgusted.
This is not the news I wanted to wake up to this morning.
Before the last national election the approval rating for congress dropped to 14% which would seem to indicate that 86% of the voters were unhappy with their performance.
In November 94% were reelected, reinforcing their belief that they will be reelected no matter what they do to the country.
You began this thread for the purpose of tracking who sells us out on health care. I am a strong advocate of taking it further and tracking (hopefully to someday prosecute) those who violate their oath of office to " protect America from all enemies both foreign and domestic."
You see, I believe there are numerous members of congress who are working against our country and there are also numerous members who aid them. All should be thrown from office, stripped of pensions and in the long run - jailed.
