Investigators believe that the gunmen had "political and religious motives."
Meanwhile, Obama is set to give a major speech in Cairo in which, among other things, he's going to point out Muslim many contributions to America.
"This individual appears to have been upset with the military, the Army in particular, and that's why he did what he did," Little Rock Police Lt. Terry Hastings said in a phone interview.
"He has converted to Muslim here in the past few years," Hastings said. "To be honest we're not completely clear on what he was upset about. He had never been in the military."
Hastings identified the man in custody as Carlos Bledsoe, 24, of Little Rock, who was going by the name of Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad. He did not have further details.

That was a HATE Crime...FT. Hood was a Hate Crime....Muslims HATE, and they are good at it, and they usually Hate 100% of the time.

Trolley Square Shooting in Salt Lake City
On February 12, 2007, at 6:44 PM MST, Sulejman Talović began a deadly shooting spree in Trolley Square resulting in the deaths of five bystanders and the shooter himself, as well as the wounding of at least four others. Talović was described as wearing a white shirt, a tan trenchcoat and a mullet. He carried both a shotgun and a handgun, as well as a backpack full of ammunition.

Barry Hussein Obama is going to point out the Muslim’s contributions to America. Lets see... World Trade Center 1, USS Cole, Achille Lauro killings, embassy bombings, World Trade Center 2, Pentagon, DC Sniper, Ft. Hood...I’m sure there are many more “contributions.” When are we going to get it? Muslims cannot serve in the US Armed Forces (especially as C in C!) because they are not loyal Americans. They shouldn’t even be in this country at all.
Allow me to clarify. Muslims HATE non-muslims. HATE, as in, "If given the opportunity, I will KILL any and all non-muslims."
The Koran demands this hatred. ALL THE MOSQUES in the U.S. are run by Wahhabi sect imams, courtesy of Saudi Arabia, who preach this hatred.
