During what has to be the unluckiest streak in their lives, the Jeffersons reported about $14,000 in casino gambling winnings. And the bankruptcy trustee is not challenging the exemption they claimed for their dog, a Labrador retriever they valued at $300.

A tax exempt pooch?

Well take his guns for sure. Wouldn’t want a broke, disgruntled former Congressman running around with a boomstick.

When you read the whole story you can almost begin to pity the poor, broken old man stripped of his honors, perks, privileges and soon freedom. The poor man has to beg the court to keep his wedding rings. His wedding rings!! What heartless legal pit bulls would take this poor man's symbol of his matrimonial vow?

Then you remember that this sleazy, dirt bag politician has taken and squandered millions on the backs of the taxpayers he was robbing, cheating and lying to. He voted against America every chance he had while picking her pockets and denouncing her virtues.

May he rot in peace in his little cinder block cell.

When news of Billy Jeff's "cool cash" became known, I really didn't think he'd go to jail over it.

Turns out I was wrong.
