The White House will today issue a Statement of Administration Policy today endorsing the health care reform legislation from House Democrats.
It will not be a signal that the president favors the House bill over the one from Senate Democrats, officials say.
The president will go to Capitol Hill to speak to House Democrats, likely on Saturday, to rally support for the bill.

Apparently Pelosi and Obama didn’t learn anything from Tuesday. This abortion of a bill - there is no other way to describe it - should be filed in the dumpster outside the Capitol immediately. Go ahead and try to pass it. If Hussein has to go to the Capitol, that tells me they are sorely lacking support and votes.

It’s very close. They don’t have the votes as of this moment, and with a little more pressure from the American people, this monstrosity can be yanked from the agenda tomorrow.

Erik, per NRO and other sources, Pelosi and team are not only breaking arms and making threats to deny re-election funds for wavering RATS, they are also threatening post-congressional employment prospects for RATS who are sacrificed in 2010.

The unemployment rate in October soared to 10.2 percent while black unemployment rose to 15.7 percent, the Labor Department reported on Friday.
The overall unemployment rate was the highest rate in 26 years, but the numbers do not reflect the millions of Americans who have stopped looking for work and are no longer counted as unemployed. The last time the official unemployment rate was at 10 percent or higher was in April 1983.
While GDP statistics indicate the country is no longer in recesssion, the U.S. economy shed 190,000 jobs in October, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The largest job losses over the month were in construction, manufacturing, and retail trade.
The unemployment rate for teenagers was also high at 27.6 percent.
The news comes as President Obama and Congress struggle to pass a major health care reform bill and just days after closely watched elections in New York, New Jersey and Virginia on Tuesday.
No, they are not tone deaf. They don't care about near term opposition, and they don't care about 2010. Once this passes, they will have complete control over our lives, and the rest doesn't matter.
They don't care if the GOP wins back the House in 2010. If the GOP were to repeal the bill, Obama would still be president to veto it, and there will not be sufficient votes in either chamber to override the veto.
The Left doesn't care if this destroys America. This is very serious for our nation.
