Incredibly, it appears that Maj. Malik Nidal Hasan, the alleged shooter in the massacre that resulted in at least 12 dead and 31 wounded at Fort Hood today, served on the Homeland Security Policy Institute’s presidential transition task force between April 2008 and January 2009 when Barack Obama was inaugurated as the nation’s 44th president.
Major Hasan’s name appears on the page numbered 29 (page 32 of the pdf) of the document, Thinking Anew — Security Priorities for the Next Administration.
Founded in 2003, The George Washington University Homeland Security Policy Institute (HSPI) is, according to the “About Us” page on its web site, a nonpartisan “think and do” tank whose mission is to build bridges between theory and practice to advance homeland security through an interdisciplinary approach.
What does it mean? Perhaps, nothing.

FOX News anchor Shepherd Smith today interviewed one of Hasan’s former Ft. Hood colleagues, Col. Terry Lee, who is now retired. Col. Lee said Hasan thought Obama’s election would bring a “quick end” to U.S. deployments in the Mideast. “When it didn’t (end) he (Hasan) became more frustrated with the situation,” said Col. Lee.
Did the results of the Tuesday night elections favoring Republicans push Maj. Hasan over the edge?
I bet the pucker factor at the US Secret Service just jumped by an order of magnitude.

Col. Lee also says that he personally talked to Hasan and that Hasan said that the Iranians have a right and should stand up against “the agressors”. Why nothing was done about this is unbelievable.
The fact that such a sick SOB could have been within arms distance of the POTUS scares me. Don’t they background these people!??!?!??!
Well, there’s only one thing to do: reverse the results of those elections.

I’m telling you, and I know this sounds crazy, but it’s just too coincidental that this happened on the day 100,000 people showed up to protest and take DC by storm over the precious health care bill.
Obama and his thug meister Rahm are not above making a phone call so as to get people’s minds off of his health care bill going down the toilet! To them nothing is more important than Obama’s image and passing this bill of tyranny...and of course he got to make such a graceful (snort) statement of support for the families on live tv.
Except of course that Obama just quite couldn’t infuse any pathos in his gracious (snort) speech after first getting in his me, me, me, me, good, me, good statements to the native Americans at the conference.
I'm guessing the jihadi's promotion was the result of strings pulled by higher-ups, and the FBI not opening a case to look into his internet posts praising the fragging of US soldiers by that other jihadi, comparing suicide bombers to soldiers jumping on a grenade to save others, etc. was also the result "discouragement" from higher-ups.

someone from Fox interviews Hasans neighbor who said that Hasan had “Allah” on his door. Whether it was written or a sign isn’t clear.

We have a muslim that stands between the military and all classified information. Nothing comes or goes without their knowledge.
We have the same situation at DHS. Muslim knows everything and all operating intel at DHS.
This is obama’s legacy and I have been warning about exactly this from day one.

Funny how everything that happens surrounding Zero and his thugocracy has the same stench. At the very least, this seems to be odd timing for the meltdown, considering. All of the lamestream media can now legitimately ignore the protests at the WH today for more worthy “news”.
Just heard that Hasan is alive, not dead as previously reported. I guess Zero will be giving him a medal of appeasement soon.

I do think it strange that the base commander was giving press conferences. Every military base has a public affairs officer.
That’s added to the fact that the General gave incorrect information, i.e. Hasan was dead, earlier today. That should never happen, a base commander stating something that was not true. Then his correcting press conference was delayed for hour after hour.
CNN’s White House reporter said the President and senior staff were meeting in the “situation room” as late as 10pm. Why would the President and senior staff be up late meeting in a secure room over a lone nut?
Then you have the coincidence with the rally today. Then you have the coincidence with the perp being part of the Dept. of Homeland Security transition team.
Finally, you have an attack on American heroes transiting from deployments where they are putting their life on the line to protect us. And yet the media, all of whom we know are in the tank for the administration, are taking this angle of trying to make the perp out to be some type of sympathetic figure.
CNN, btw, is live tonight with a “special midnight edition” of Larry King live - Wolf Blitzer hosting.
Who wants to bet the New York Times and Washington post DON’T run with this story....
My great fear is that the muzzie shooter is an authorized actor, in full knowledge of the DHS and WH, and the terror war has moved into another dimension entirely.
Shooter does seem to have a solid Washington DC and Palestinian connection, and a connection to the administration.
Interesting to have this happen on the anniversary date of the Iranian takeover of the US embassy in Tehran.

I never knew any shrinks, but the 'Industrial Psychologists" (i.e. HR consultants) I have seen over the years seemed to have lots of 'issues.' Maybe they needed a shrink. ;~))
That profession has the highest suicide rate of any.
