Carly Fiorina (R) on Thursday announced the endorsements of eight Republican senators for her just-launched California Senate campaign.
After primary opponent Chuck DeVore annonced the backing of Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) this week, Fiorina fought back with Sens. Tom Coburn (Okla.), Susan Collins (Maine), Lindsey Graham (S.C.), Jon Kyl (Ariz.), John McCain (Ariz.), Mitch McConnell (Ky.), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) and Olympia Snowe (Maine).

I appreciate her so publicly accepting the RINO stamp of approval. Saves us a lot of time figuring her out.

Those endorsements are NOT a recommendation, if anything they prove why she is a BAD choice.

She is. The ‘rat’ side of the Republican party...every one of those names she listed needs thrown out of the party on their collective azzes.

Sounds awfully like this may be like Scuzzyfuzzy in NY-23, where a true RINO is facing a Conservative's challenge, and the Party folks back the loser....
Stay tuned. With the Olympia-Lindsey-McClame-etc. RINO's endorsements, it's obvious to me who is the more Conservative candidate here.

Carly Fiorina is a checked pants Republican and I will root for her opponent in the primary. However, she is still leagues above that American hating trash Barbara Boxer will support her should she win the primary.
To: rabscuttle385
Look I don't know a great deal about Fiorina or DeVore. I just know that we can't screw this one up. I know the typical FR types will be out knocking Fiorina as a RINO. These types would cut their noses off to spite their faces.
In a perfect world, I would always like to have the true blue 100% bona fide, certified conservative. But we don't and this is California. We will have millions of idiots voting. We MUST get rid of the despicable, horrible, idiotic Barbara Boxer. She has done enough damage already. So I don't care who the nomoniee is as long as we win this one. We can elect more conservative Senators in the other states.

Snow White and the seven dwarves? This is a RINO all-stars list. But I too am perplexed by my favorite Senator Coburn doing this ... maybe I'll have to make DeMint my fave.

I got an email from McQueeq to support her. No way in the primaries. Devore it is. This will be royal battle between Conservatism and RINO. Apparently Fiorina has a lot of money behind her so it will take a herculean effort for Devore to win the nomination.
To: rabscuttle385
Snowe, Collins, Graham, McCainThat makes it easy for me. DeVore has my vote

“So I don’t care who the nomoniee is as long as we win this one. We can elect more conservative Senators in the other states.”
This makes no sense at all. If we don’t care who the nominee is, then we might as well all stay home and let others decide. This kind of thinking is what gives us the Arlen Specters (supported by Bush!) and Olympia Snowes. If the Republican Party is going to abandon principle in favor of expediency, it has no purpose whatsoever.
To: Pining_4_TX
You should learn to read. As I said in a perfect world I love to have the perfect conservative. But seeing as this is California we might not get that perfect conservative. I want someone who can win. If Fiorina is not my perfect candidate but can beat Boxer, then I'm for her. If DeVore is closer to my perfect conservative but loses to Boxer, where does that get us? Of course I'd rather have the perfect conservative as Senator. But Boxer is killing us. We need to get rid of her. That's job one. This woman MUST go! If Fiorina has a better chance of beating her, then despite her faults I will go with her.

WHY OH WHY ARE PEOPLE BACKING THIS WOMAN? HER CAREER IN LEADERSHIP WAS AN ABJECT FAILURE! SHE’S PRO ABORTION AS WELL! California, you can do better.. you are a state in bankruptcy, you need and deserver better then this woman. Nip this thing in the bud, she’s welcome in the party, but you cannot convince me you don’t have better than her to run.
To: truthguy
Um, I want a Republican who if Abortion comes to a vote, or a Supreme Cout Justice nominee comes up, will not become an apologist for a pro infanticide piece of legislation or judicial activist.
Sorry, I have no issues with less than perfection, but Carly isn’t even close to acceptable.
A liberal republican cannot be depended on when the chips are down, they have screwed over the people too many times. This woman is just a bad candidate period, California you can do better.

Defeat of anti-abortion hard liner Doug Hoffman is not helping DeVore. It is a pity GOP lost a seat held for over a century to another Nancy Pelosi backer, the democrat in NY.

How can “we” screw up when, if Fiorina runs, you have two Democrat candidates to pick from. The “we” of the Rino party - I don’t care if they win or they lose. They are just as bad as the Democrats for the country.

I suspect those endorsees bear more weight in California than more conservative senators would.
Carly says she is pro-life. An endorsement from Snowe doesn’t change that.
Sometimes we have to go with the best we got ...
To: rabscuttle385
Tom McClintock has endorsed DeVore, Snowe endorses Fiorina, that in itself has helped make my decision.
