Dear Friends.
Just over two months ago I wrote in my Update that I had the worst meeting in my life. I said I have seen the Devil today. I met this awful man in Amman.
I referred to him as the Devil and I even refused to continue the meeting and told the Sheikh who had brought him to me never to let me meet him again.
He told me that they were going to start killing in the UK then the USA. One sentence I remembered but did not understand was "those who cure you will kill you".
I did not understand this then but in the last two days since the terrorist activities in the UK were brought to a head I was not surprised when there were reports that those arrested were all involved in the health services.
Those terrible words "those who cure you will kill you" suddenly made sense.
The litany of planned killing was horrendous. I passed on this information to our FCO. I then learned that this person was a senior Al Qaeda figure and so was indeed bent on the destruction of innocent lives.
Dr Mohammed Asha, 26, of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, was arrested in a dramatic police swoop on the M6 motorway near Sandbach in Cheshire. Dr Asha qualified as a doctor in Jordan and had been working at North Staffordshire Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent.

A group of 45 Muslim doctors threatened to use car bombs and rocket grenades in terrorist attacks in the United States during discussions on an extremist internet chat site.
Cyber-terrorists: Tariq Daour, Younis Tsouli and Waseem Mughal
Police found details of the discussions on a site run by one of a three-strong "cyber-terrorist" gang.
They were discovered at the home of Younis Tsouli, 23, Woolwich Crown Court in south-east London heard.
One message read: "We are 45 doctors and we are determined to undertake jihad.
The three "cyber terrorists" - a British national and two who had been given the right to live in Britain - are facing lengthy jail sentences after admitting using the internet to spread al-Qa'eda propaganda inciting Muslims to a violent holy war and to murder non-believers.
They had close links with al-Qa'eda and believed they had to fight jihad against a global conspiracy by kuffars, or non-believers, to wipe out Islam. The three are the first defendants in Britain to be convicted of inciting terrorist murder on the internet. They waged cyber-jihad on websites run from their bedrooms.
Tsouli promoted the ideology of Osama bin Laden via email and radical websites. He said in one message he was "very happy" about the July 7 bombings in London in 2005.
Tsouli, along with Tariq Daour, a biochemistry student, and Waseem Mughal, a law student, were intelligent, computer-literate men who promoted violent propaganda.

Doctors, like airline pilots are put in positions of trust and are able to do great harm with little or no help.
Most western countries love to import medical professionals from a variety of different countries. If a terrorist is patient and ruthless, they can worm their way into places where they can inflict the maximum amount of damage. Therefore, they are trained, find entry less restrictive and then wait for the most opportune moment to strike.
There is also the potential for larger scale terror too. Perhaps the goal is access to US bioweapons.
Most of the doctors here seem to be Egyptians and Lebanese. I know at least one of the Lebanese is a Christian. My wife is diabetic and was going to a Mohammedan in 2000. After 9-11 we thought that over and decided that she had to get a different doctor. It took a while but she got a different doctor. One simply cannot know when a man feels the call of his religion to be a better believer by acting out his beliefs,doing something for Allah, as it were. That is a more dangerous thing as a Mohammedan doctor enters middle age. That is the time when people rediscover their old faiths or convert to new ones or become more fervent in their faiths- begin to take more seriously what is written in the Holy Books. Among Christians that can bring more generosity or introspection, a shedding of bad practices. For a Jew it can bring more strict observance of The Law. For a Mohammedan it can mean he must do his part to immediately convert those around him or kill them. When I had a shop in the 90s, my neighbor on one side was a Mohammedan martial arts instructor. He came into my shop occasionally to talk. On the first visit he asked me about my religion and over the course of two or three more visits it evolved into a constant barrage from him about how I must convert. After a couple more visits I asked him to not come in. I have had interactions with a couple of others and It is as if a conversation cannot last more than half a dozen exchanges before conversion has to come up. And this is all in their Holy Book. All must work at converting or killing infidels if they are to be true Moslems just as perhaps I must renounce the flesh, love God, and bring the Good News to others. I am not required by my religion to convert unbelievers. I am tasked with telling them about God and Our Saviour. The Moslem is called up on to convert or kill(or enslave). When they begin to be concerned with Mortality and turn to their religion they get dangerous. Buy ammo. Get range time. It’s coming.

I know. My old Jewish accountant and I had a falling out. I knew this fellow from a chamber of commerce group we both attended. It was an emergency thing and he really helped me out in a pinch. I do his insurance now too.
