FOX is getting testimony from officer that he heard the shooter make several anti-American, pro-Muslim/jihad-like statements about Muslims need to rise up against the Western agressors and engage in violent attacks against the military like the shooter in Little Rock, AR. This dude was reported concerning his threatening statements and was still walking around. Don't you just love our politically correct Army. I'm talking about some of those libs at the top, not the real soldiers who are fantastic.

This guy wanted to get away from the military. Have seen it before where people get their medical education coutesy of the military and after that they want out.
Years ago we had a doctor participate in a demonstration outside an AF base and actually jumped on the hood of the car of the Medical Service officer from the Medical Center. He was within days of getting out of the Air Force and was court martialed and ordered to pay every last penny back.

I don't recall hearing about any Japanese or Germans “snapping” due to “derogatory comments” made by those he served with.

That was the first thing that crossed my mind. I spent three years working in the Command Surgeon’s Office at AFLC now AFMC. My boss was over all the medical centers including the large USAF Medical Center Wright-Patt. Trust me I was uncomfortable when some of the psychiatrist would come to our office. Cannot feature any of them being issued a weapon — the word loon also came to mind as I remembered some of them.
Strange birds and should never have been near weapons. None of the doctors at the medical center were issued weapons unless they were headed overseas which makes me wonder if this guy was going to be deployed.

they were released, and they are saying the two may actually have been trying to help to stop the shooter, or just got caught up in the event as it happened. They were not involved, other than being there when it happened, either as onlookers or in attempting to stop the shooter.
