There has long been suspicion that Iran was working on a delivery system. To be quite honest, one has to wonder:
- just how long Iran has been working on such?
- was this in improvised North Korean version or an indigenous Iran design?
- how long has the IAEA known of this and not said/reported anything?
"Another western specialist with extensive knowledge of the Iranian programme said: "It raises the question of who supplied this to them. Did AQ Khan [a Pakistani scientist who confessed in 2004 to running a nuclear smuggling ring] have access to this, or is it another player?"
