According to Franconia Township Police, the resident of a home in the 300 block of Oak Driver heard a noise in his kitchen at 2:30 a.m.

liance Road.
A police canine officer from Quakertown was used for tracking the suspect.

The door to the home was not locked at the time of the incident, police said.

Indeed. This country is not the one it once was.
He shot at a fleeing suspect. He could be facing charges. While I personally have no issues with it, legally he could be in hot water.
Really...
Of that I am certain
A few shotgun blasts work well, too, and they don't contribute as much to global warming.
So, the burglar was already out of the house and on his way. Good thing he didn't hit him or the homeowner would be behind bars.

Homeowner should buy a clue to there's something fishy here.

Actually, outdoor lighting can assist a burglar. My car was broken into once *because* it was parked under a light and the punks could see what they were doing.
