Become a PRECINCT COMMITTEE OFFICER/PERSON NOW!
My brain | 11/4/09 | me

NOW is the time for all of you to become PRECINCT COMMITTEE MEN/WOMEN! It's how we take back the Republican Party! PCO's have VOTING POWERS....they elect their County GOP Chair, make State House Appointments, provide input into the PLATFORM, help choose candidates, activate voters, and some are ELECTORS of the ELECTORAL COLLEGE.

If you don't know what a PCP is go to your local County or State GOP page (or even the local DEMOCRAT webpage!)....or freep mail me...and I'll email info. You represent your immediate Precinct/neighborhood. It's TIME!!!

HISTORY IS CALLING YOU! It's 1775 AGAIN....what are YOU going to do. What will you tell your children and grandchildren you did to save their freedoms?

You can be APPOINTED first, and then it's easy to get elected...here in our state it only takes 3 votes, and costs $1 to run.

If you ARE a PCP find other like minded individuals to become PCP's. Most counties are in desperate need of PCP's.

A summary of the kinds of activities of PCP’s (from a DEMOCRAT website):

Precinct Committee Person opportunities:
• County Party voting delegate (at the Central Committee monthly meetings)
• Nominate candidates for Democratic vacancies in state legislature or county commission.
• Participate in County and State Platform Conventions
• Elect County Central Committee Officers
• Elect delegates to the State Central Committee
• Elect delegates to the Democratic National Presidential Convention
• Voter contact*
Other important things PCPs can do…
• Identify people to lobby elected officials
• Identify high school students’ 18th birthdays
• Recruit volunteers
• Solicit small donations
• Provide tax credit information
• Get voters’ phone numbers and email addresses
• Act as a resource whom voters in your precinct can contact for assistance.

Great idea. The time is now to get involved and stay involved until we vote out every marxist, progressive, leftist, socialist in both parties.

In my majority Republican County, clean-cut men like me are not even allowed to vote (many excuses and tactics from them). When I complained about that and asked for advice, I was flamed for it on this discussion board. Only rich Republicans who support hiring exclusively women for local government offices, bringing in more federal funding and raising taxes for schools (and for the NEA), increasing regulations against small business starts, and the like, are allowed to vote and participate in politics.

I left the Republican Party to become unaffiliated after the last general election, because I’m in favor of traditional family, in favor of pro-American trade policies, in favor of allowing families to stay together (against social programs), in favor of prosecuting illegal drug offenders, in favor of putting men to work (against local Republican opposition against uranium mining, oil drilling, etc.),... Generally, most Republicans regard me as a “Neanderthal,” who wants to spoil their fun.

We don’t need chickens imported from China. We need a complete replacement of political and business leadership at all levels in this country, because nearly all of our bipartisan leaders lean to the regulatory, big-government, immoral left in too many ways.

Show me a presidential candidate who is a man.

Been there, done that! Good luck. You will need it. Precinct Committee Members and the County Committee Officers, set the table using a menu provided by global syndicate financing. Until you get independent of that, you are just "peeing into the wind."

Yes.

You are correct. At least that’s been my experience. In most counties precinct chairs are elected at large. You go in fill out an application, pay a fee, and your name is on the ballot at your precinct. You can generally get a mailing list of registered party members from the party.

Then you have to knock on doors. That’s it. But generally even if you lose, you’ll end up being “elected” at the precinct convention to one of the precinct officer positions. Then you become a delegate to the county convention, and if you work hard enough to the state convention.

If everyone of the “tea party” folks would just rally the local gop, the movement could quickly take control of the party.

The Founding Fathers didn't obtain their freedoms from King George III by becoming PCPs.

Or is that what you tell your children and grandchildren?

Good luck with a party that spends a million bucks to promote ACORN-endorsed Leftists and to trash conservatives.

Actually, I applaud any sincere effort in any organization to restore conservatism and self-government, which I have no doubt yours is.

It’s just that I spent almost two decades inside the GOP doing exactly what you suggest, and I know where that road leads.

In any case, may God richly bless you and lead you.

You were likely very alone in your efforts at the time and I thank you for all you did...the time is RIPE now to infiltrate and take over the GOP.....but, we have to be a little STEALTH about it....if you know what I mean.

Yup. But it's not necessary for county/state -- my wife and I have gone up to state without being PCOs (though she was the PCO in our last residence).

Yeah, do it! Getting conservatives into those seats enabled us to take our county party back from the RINOs.

That's another reason Republicans won't get any of my votes again--that, the public pushes for legalizing dope and other trashy, libertine leanings.

Yeah, I guess I wasn't clear enough. You don't have to be an officer to be a delegate, but usually all officers are delegates.

In most of our precinct meetings there are fewer people in attendance than available seats to the delegation. Usually someone asks for a seat for their wife, sister, or something like that.
