Newt said it was difficult to go against the 11 local officials who picked Dede.Says anyone who is angry with him has a right to feel that way.
Hey Newt, here’s an idea for next time. Pay attention to who Sarah Palin endorses, then follow her lead okie dokie
You’re so 90’s.
Newt said it was difficult to go against the 11 local officials who picked Dede.

Newt’s not his own man...
and therefore not a leader...
Newt, admit it, you’re a democrat hiding behind the ‘R’, who do you think you are fooling?
Too little too late.. you are a private citizen now, you had absolutely no business interest to promote any specific party- your choice showed you’ve long ago lost the clarity to understand the public and what is important to us. You have beltwayitis and that isn’t curable.
No matter. He’s finished. Like Scuzzyfloppa, he just confirmed what we already knew about him.
Hey, Newtie, look up the definiton of “principle”
So it was easy to go against 50-60 million? What an ass.
I’m glad to see Newt recognizes his mistake but he seems to keep making them.
Newt: Go to confession, get your mind right, burnish off the RINO patina, and get back to the principles of Ronaldus Magnus.
Says he had it all wrong.
With a name like “Newt” - but I digress ...
That was a big part of the problem. The historian never bothered to do his research. Winning with people like Dede isn't worth it.
washed up!
We have all his lectures, my hubby just transferred them to cd’s a couple months ago. Newt is brilliant in those tapes. Hubby’s really upset about him. Newt was so promising in the 90’s. It’s so sad he got sucked into the DC cocktail circuit.
Well, this would indicate thatNewt clearly doesn’t believe the mainstream spin that this loss hurt conservatives since if he did he would be attacking us rather than apologizing to us. That is a good sign of how the Party Big Wigs will read the results.
Doesn't he though? If he doesn't wise up Newt may end up on the ash-bin of history.
Or is his name short for Newton - but ....
Some serious backtracking.
Michele Malkin just ripped Newtus Agustus a big one.
Michele could barely get it out with out Hannity jumping in to defend his “good buddy” Newtus
Maybe that’s why he pals around with Pelosi and Sharpton and not Palin....

Maybe that’s why he pals around with Pelosi and Sharpton and not Palin....
If you cant say no to 11..how can you say no to a whole senate?
Bite me Newt, too little too late. Body of Lies.
Newt needs to retire. Go teach or something. Go fishing. Anything but politics.
I went to the Tea Party in Milwaukee and Michelle was there-she ripped Obummer a new one calling out all his czars.
She got the crowd lathered up!
Global warming, Dede...if he shoots himself in the feet any more times he’ll be riding around in a wheel chair.
“Newt said it was difficult to go against the 11 local officials who picked Dede.”
No it isn’t Newt. The National GOP withholds funding to the local GOP hacks. Whats hard about that Newt.
Newt....Her husband is a labor leader and SHE TRIED TO SWITCH PARTIES BUT THEY WOULDN’T TAKE HER. In the future, just STFU.
His comments run counter to others who demand that conservatives be more moderate in order to win elections. Maybe he learned something from this.
Stupid is as stupid does.
“If you cant say no to 11..how can you say no to a whole senate? “
By Far, the best point I have heard or read about this race!
Darn good thinking!
Newt and a two dollar whore have a lot in common. I’d would not do business with either, but the whore is probably more honest.
Newt is a part of the problem, not the solution.
Just shut up, Newt. We don’t want to hear from you again.
You are toast.
Newt knew Michele was coming up after him.
So Newt being the stratigest he is, did a little pre-empting
didn’t he
You made the best point in the thread imo. Newt represents the beltway. If he’s saying he made a mistake it’s in keeping with Cornyn’s announcement that they would not spend money in primaries again. At least in seats not involving an incumbent. That seems to indicate despite spin otherwise the lesson the establishment is taking from this is that open primaries should be left to the people to decide. That’s a step in the right direction.
bttt
He knew he had some 'splainin' to do.
Too late, Newt.
Go away, far away.
Shut up.
And leave we conservatives alone.
I like Sean Hannity as a person but he is an IDIOT to have this DIABLO scum, adulterer, serial divorcee and other Dem scum on his show.
Sean is heading toward RINO Bill “ I am a POS” O’Reilly status.
Newt’s all about Newt. Facetime, punditry, book sales, etc. Like other RINOs, he’s got to be feeling the wind changing.
Going along with "local officials" without understanding their views and intent can get people into a lot of trouble. It did for Newt. Any parent can tell him we monitor our children and the dozen or so friends they have and what they do and what they intend to do on a 24/7 basis. This is not a valid excuse for Newt. His level of political expertise should have geared him to check out the credentials of all involved before he signed on to join them.
"Colin Powell is a great American. I'm proud to be a Republican. Dick Cheney is a great American. I'm glad both of them are Republicans," Gingrich said, referencing a debate between the two leaders--Face The Nation June 2009
Kerry-Gingrich debate on Global Warming
At one point, Gingrich said, "We're not arguing over whether it [a plan to fight global warming] should be urgent. We're arguing over whether bureaucracy and litigation is a better way to be urgent or whether science and technology translated by entrepreneurs into products is a better way to be urgent."
Finally, Kerry relented. "I'm excited to hear you talk about the urgency," he said. But "what would you say to Senator [Jim] Inhofe [R-Okla.] and to others in the Senate who are resisting even the science?"
Gingrich didn't hesitate. "My message," he said, "is that the evidence is sufficient that we should move towards the most effective possible steps to reduce carbon loading of the atmosphere." The pro-Kerry crowd applauded.
"And do it urgently?" the senator pressed.
"And do it urgently, yeah," the former speaker replied. "I think there has to be, if you will, a green conservatism," he added.

Gingrich-Pelosi ad
NANCY PELOSI: Hi. Im Nancy Pelosi, lifelong Democrat and Speaker of the House.
NEWT GINGRICH: And Im Newt Gingrich, lifelong Republican, and I used to be Speaker.
PELOSI: We dont always see eye-to-eye, do we Newt?
GINGRICH: No. But we do agree our country must take action to address climate change.
PELOSI: We need cleaner forms of energy and we need them fast.
GINGRICH: If enough of us demand action from our leaders, we can spark the innovation we need.

That's why I don't waste my money with the GOP anymore.
As long as losers like Gingrich keep stinking up the GOP, my wallet will remain forever closed to them.
