Study: Parallels between 1994 and now on health care

WASHINGTON -- Americans' opinion of the health care proposals now before Congress is eerily similar to public opinion of the Clinton health reform initiatives in 1994, according to an analysis published in the New England Journal of Medicine today -- and that may not bode well for Democrats.

It’s not “eerily similar” we haven’t changed our minds at all about it. The governemnt didn’t listen in 1994 and once again they are not listening.They will be recieving the same pink slips that they did in 1994, count on it!

Except that Clinton was a two-term president. We cannot afford to let that happen.

We need to pull out all the stops.

The Democrats think this is their once in a generation chance to get the holy grail of liberalism enshrined into law - universal health care. And they're prepared to throw away their congressional majorities to make it a fait accompli.

Obama was elected solely because it was” historic”. I doubt that that will work twice, besides his polices cntinue to make the economy worse and the Bush tax cuts ending in Jan 2010 will take a lot of money from people who are barely getting by right now.Soon will will be able to say “see they weren’t just for the rich”! My goal in life is being as obnxious about democrats for the next 3 years as the dems were the prior 8 years. :)
