For the mid-term elections night, I would suggest that Obama watch a rerun of CNN-Nov. 2008.

Anyone remember how HBO assigned the Bush campaign documentary ("Travels with George") to the snarky daughter of Nancy Pelosi?

And so that night, I decided to bear no more
the curse of my flawlessness.
Lustfully, my fingers plucked my eyes from their sockets.
I felt hot red ooze, and thought that even my blood
would be sparkling, and its flow musical
as it touched the ground on which I stood.
Without hesitation, I pierced my chest and took
my rhythmically unerring heart,
and shoved it into my mouth.
I felt the presence of an envious Death around me, waiting,
My perfect death—
my last offering to the world that denied me compassion.
Murmuring like heat under the sun.
I wait for another life or chance
to embrace a world that inhabits a gentler slope.
And, remember, that the White House was “unaware” of any unusual activity in DC the weekend of the TEA PARTY!

Pining away for the good ol’ days when everybody loved him and he could win an election for somebody.

Not even a year in and already reliving the ‘glory years’. Looking for inspiration, perhaps? Longing for the days when the pixie-dust worked?
