White House: Tuesday's GOP wins not about Obama
AP on Yahoo ^ | 11/4/09 | AP

WASHINGTON – The White House says that Republican wins in two governors' races were not referendums on the president.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters Wednesday that voters went to the polls in Virginia and New Jersey to work through "very local issues that didn't involve the president." The presidential spokesman said voters were concerned about the economy.

"I don't think the president needed an election or an exit poll to come to that conclusion," Gibbs said.

By contrast, Gibbs acknowledged that the 2010 midterm congressional elections will be more about the Obama agenda.

It was so local that is why Obama went into NJ five times for Corzine and sent in his campaign people. Guess Christie’s answer was the 700 lawyers spread about NJ looking for voter fraud.

Law and Order candidates trumped the ZERO! Gotta love it!

It's being reported on Fox that Gibbs said the boy-king did not watch the results last night but a special on himself on HBO instead. Anyone else and I would call Gibbs a liar, but I believe he's speaking the truth for once.

Which is precisely why yesterday was such a disaster for them. Dems in congress now know how worthless Obama stumping for them is.

The Obama agenda got a HUGE SLAP-DOWN last night. And the commies know it. The country, after figuring out what Obama was REALLY about, has just begun to speak. This election result was more about Obama and his socialist thuggery than any other single issue.

OK, just keep Pelosi talking — that will be the final stroke for 2010.

What the White House thinks really doen't matter. The facts speak for themselves. It wasn't just a New Jersey and Virginia phenomenon, many local mayoral races, county row offices, judges and state house races swung over to Republicans this time. It was the only avenue voters had to express their opposition to this gang of thugs.

If the White House continues its denial (and I hope they do) and continue on their present path then the next election, in 2010, will be a blood bath for them.

Wow. I never thought I’d see the day when something “wasn’t” about The Obama in his own eyes.

Well that's not quite true. His spokesman say he didn't watch the news last night instead he nestled in to watch "By the People: The Election of Barack Obama," a documentary on HBO!

So you see...he actually did spend the day with himself, thinking about himself and loving himself. So take a deep breath and relax. Nothing has changed but the date.

TV and radio ad executives were very pleased. They will have a wonderful Christmas with their commission checks.

That is just it. They have zero good choices right now (from their warped perspective) They can abandon their dreams of destroying the country and moderate.

They can continue full steam ahead

With choice #1 they lose the moonbats with choice #2 they lose just about everyone else.

I love this.

The White House says that Republican wins in two governors' races were not referendums on the president.

I almost wonder what he would've said had those races gone the other way.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters Wednesday that voters went to the polls in Virginia and New Jersey to work through "very local issues that didn't involve the president." The presidential spokesman said voters were concerned about the economy.

I have to admit it: I don't pay much attention to very local issues on the East Coast. What's this economy deal in Virginia and New Jersey?

At least if the economy in those states is so bad that voters demanded change, it must be good news for the Democrats that the president isn't involved. I'm reminded of those evil Republicans who gave us "it's the economy, stupid."

"It's being reported on Fox that Gibbs said the boy-king did not watch the results last night but a special on himself on HBO instead."

Precisely correct.

Why is Dr. Charles Krauthammer the only Psychiatrist to publicly acknowledge the FACT that Raila Odinga's favorite cousin is a narcissist?

Where are the Republic's other psychiatrists and psychologists to acknowledge the severe mental problems oozing out of this guy?

I see plenty of instances where Raila Odinga's favorite cousin has shown narcissism, pathological lying, flippant attitudes, racist associations, terrorist sympathies and a litany of other disturbing behaviors.
