Subpoenaed Black Panthers
Washington Times ^ | 11/4/2009

Could the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights actually subpoena U.S. Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr.?

That scenario is unlikely, but it suddenly has entered the realm of possibility. The Civil Rights Commission is making a full inquiry into a controversy about a voter-intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party and several of its members and has escalated its investigation. At its meeting last Friday, the commission voted 5-2 on a motion to authorize Chairman Gerald A. Reynolds to issue subpoenas to a broad range of witnesses and decision-makers relating to the case.

The motion specifically listed three separate categories of Justice Department personnel among the five categories of potential subpoena targets. As well it should. After the judge in the case had issued a default judgment against the Black Panthers, the Justice Department inexplicably dropped all the charges except one and asked for an absurdly non-punitive "penalty" on the one charge remaining.

The Washington Times has since reported that, despite original assertions to the contrary by Justice spokesmen, top political appointees at the department participated in the decision to drop the cases. Meanwhile, the department has remained unresponsive to requests from Republican Reps. Frank Wolf of Virginia and Lamar Smith of Texas for more explanations.

In authorizing subpoenas, the Commission on Civil Rights is acting directly pursuant to its primary purpose, as defined by law, of "investigat[ing] allegations in writing under oath or affirmation relating to deprivations because of color [or] race ... of the right of citizens of the United States to vote and have votes counted."

Yes, and pigs just might fly under their own power.

But it sure sounds fun if it were to happen!

What?!?! You mean you can’t have thugs with clubs intimidate people at a voting place? If you keep placing all these limits on the Democrats, how do you expect them to win a fair election? It won’t be long before you actually verify that the person voting in a precinct actually live in that precint; and are only voting one time.

Didn’t I read that the Black Panthers were just at the White House to see their leader?

It is INESCAPABLE that these charges were dismissed because the perps were BLACK.

If the left wants to OWN THIS FACT, so be it.

Surprise! Guess Who Visited White House

Lots of infamous names on logs, Obama in full-court denial mode

Malik Zuzu Shabazz (If this guy could get away with killing you, he would)

Malik Zulu Shabazz, national chairman of the radical New Black Panther Party, refused to confirm or deny to WND whether he visited the White House since President Obama took office, despite his name appearing on a recent administration disclosure.

Shabazz's namesake was among the 110 names and 481 visits released by the White House on Friday as part of the Obama administration's so-called volunteer disclosure policy. The names were just a fraction of the hundreds of thousands of visitors who have gone through the White House's doors since January.

Among the famous names that stood out on the brief list were Shabazz, Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers.

This is very surprising. Does anyone have a theory as to how this has gotten this far without the Obambi/Rambo crowd crushing the Commission?

But but but I thought some of the names on the list were not the same people we thought they were. Just how many Malik Zuzu Shabazz have you run across in your life?

I can only proffer up the Forrest Gump disclaimer;

"Sorry I ruined your Black Panther party."

This Post-Racial President is the most Divisive Person on the Planet.

And I believe it can be proved that many of the people 0bama surrounds himself with are members of one or more organizations whose aim is the dismantling of the USofA as we know it. SDS, Weather Underground, ACORN . . . .

Maybe, just maybe there are some dems in DC who are alarmed at the direction this country has taken. Because they know how the administration crushes anyone who would speak or act against it, they are trying to work under the radar.

And maybe it is just the morning fog lingering in my brain. :-)

The Black Panthers is a racist, fascist criminal organization. No one in their right mind wants the Panthers protected from prosecution when they are thugging around election places...except Dear Leader, Holder and the communist Czars.

The Civil Rights Commission has powers beyond the reach of the Executive Branch. The only thing bam can do is appoint Marxists to the commission when appointments expire. It will take a while and maybe the truth will come out in the mean time as to who is protecting the panthers and why.

I believe the White House put these thugs up to the intimidation. It absolutely astounds me that the United States has a huge problem with voter Fraud. We here, have to show picture Id and a utility bill or something to verify our address is the same as the picture Id and we have to have a valid Voter Registration Card. This blows me away.

I am sure that so many DemonRats have been elected by Fraud including BO, Hillary Clinton in New York, Mary Landriu in LA and on and on. The courts need to deal with this but it looks like they won’t because they don’t seem to even take the Constitution seriously anymore. What a shame. The US was always ssnt to oversee election in third world countries and now they have the same scenario going on. Crazy!! CO

obama voters are idiots. None of this is a surprise for those of us who were paying attention during the years of obama’s campaign.

One can learn a lot from a bumper sticker:
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large groups...just look what they have done to America.
