WASHINGTON: European nations are unlikely to contribute more troops to Afghanistan, the head of the European Commission said on Tuesday, as President Barack Obama weighs boosting US forces there.
Opinion polls in many European countries show clear majorities in favor of withdrawing troops from Afghanistan. There are some 67,000 US troops and 42,000 from allied nations there.

Why do I think this is a special planted story?
why should any nation send more troops to protect the corrupt government of this failed state? best thing would be a complete withdrawal. just claim “victory” (and then cut and run) and then leave them to their own fate. just build an airbase near by so you can bomb them anytime they feel to harbor terrorists again.
No surprise here.
Europe doesn’t even want to take GITMO prisoners either.
How’s all that “diplomacy” workin’ out for ya, huh?
sorry but why should Europe take GITMO prisoners? I mean can we send you our prisoners? but anyway if you have no problem to send more troops to afghanistan just to protect the towelheads in Kabul from the Towelheads of the hills fine. feel free to enlist. but i´m not for wasting only a single soldiers life to protect people who hate us anyway.
Europe shouldn’t take em. They should give Obama enough rope to hang himself and let him get done in by his own words and stupid policies. I wonder how he’s gonna explain why Gitmo will still be open next year. The guy is a !@#$%^&*! moron. We have a retarded pussy as president.
