Gallup: GOP would win the House of Representatives
The American Thinker ^ | November 03, 2009 | William Tate

Psst. Don't tell anybody, but Republicans would win control of Congress if the election were now, instead of next year.

It's sure to remain the biggest political secret not in the news. Naturally, the media will ignore it; the polling company that produced the survey, Gallup, even buried it under a misleading headline.

Maybe, to get some coverage, the Republicans could claim to have hidden somebody in a weather balloon, or something.

The congressional election prediction is part of a one-two punch Gallup delivered Barack Obama's Chicago mob on Tuesday, albeit reluctantly.

Bammy doesn’t pay attention to polls, or election results, or the Dow, or CENTCOM advice, or townhall mandates...

Let the media ignore it. In the meantime, Conservatives have got to get a hold of the GOP power apparatus in the States and run solidly Conservative candidates, men and women who strongly oppose Barack Hussein Obama (mmm mmm mmm). If this happens, the GOP could pick up some HUGE gains and we could see a total flip-flop of power in 2010.

Also, unlike how Clinton became a Moderate Conservative after 1994, Barack Hussein Obama (mmm mmm mmm) is incapable of switching his ideological spots so he could position himself as a Centrist for the next Presidential election. He'd just spend the last two years shooting hoops, chain-smoking Gauloises, and muttering how "whitey is out to git him".

Unfortunately, the election IS a year away. A lot can happen. Republicans (conservative) can really screw up in a year - like becoming more moderate.

Or, Conservatives can take hold of the local party apparatus, and back Conservative candidates who want to defeat Barack Hussein Obama’s (mmm mmm mmm) initiatives, as well as introduce Conservative initiatives that’ll back Barack Hussein Obama (mmm mmm mmm) into a corner.

Now, as one Iowa woman told the New York Times, folks are saying, "Oh, what did we do?"

I'll tell you what you did, lady. You got hoodwinked and bamboozled, and you confirmed for the rats once again that substance doesn't matter, that most voters have no concept of this country, the Constitution or the role of government, and that your vote can be bought with nothing more than a vague promise of "hope and change" (and a lot of government cheese promised to be thrown your way).

You're a pathetic excuse of a voter, honey. Next time around, do us all a favor and keep your ignorant butt at home on election day.

You wouldn’t think so based on the 2 NY specials. Both should have been easy wins that we KOed by a bad campaign (Tedisco) and extreme ignorance on the part of a few county bosses (Owens/Scuzzobama race) respectively.

The media might ignore it, but you can rest assured that Democrats in swing districts will not. Obamacare and Cap and Tax just got a whole lot harder to jam through.

Time is on our side, for a couple of reasons. First, Obama is a lousy President, really lousy. Second, Sarah Palin is just getting warmed up in her chopping up RAT ideas. By this time next year, if you’ve got a D next to your name, you will be barracuda food.

What that means is those Republicans who were just elected have to immediately start “walking the walk” to prove that more of the same is warranted in next year’s elections.

If they “go along to get along” we’ll soon be right back where we were.

Now, as one Iowa woman told the New York Times, folks are saying, "Oh, what did we do?"

My husband was having a conversation with his uncle who is a democrat a few weeks back. The uncle said something to the effect that many people were now surprised at the (socialist-type) things that have occured under the Obama adminstration.

My husband responded WHY???? He's doing EXACTLY what he said he'd do on the campaign trail!!

Uncle didn't have any response to that.

(rolling eyes!)
