ST. CLAIRSVILLE,OHIO -- We the People - Ohio Valley sponsored a rally that attracted more than a thousand people to the steps of the Belmont County Courthouse.
The purpose of the voter rally was to remind voters of the importance of the Congressional midterm election in 2010., and to refocus on some of the important issues that face us today.
The rally featured patriotic music and motivational speeches.

Belmont County is one of the least populated counties in Ohio. Big percentage is Catholic Swiss and Germans, including my distant relatives. A thousand people is a huge group.
The only other thing that draws this much people is the annual beer drinking potato gun festival down by the river. Seriously.
