28% Reporting, rejection of Gay Marriage up 50.51%
WOW!!!!
This IS a night to celebrate!!!!!!!!
God has not forgotten His people even though too many of us have forgotten Him.
Does this mean Snowe and Collins have to stay in the closet?
Father God please don’t let gay’s marry.
When I got married, the minister performing the marriage said ‘let no man put asunder’.!
Damn. This report could make a lot of butt cheeks quiver.
i’d say it’s a tad early to celebrate. i am interested in this vote. keep it going!
Awww poor Debbie wasserman shultz sounds soooo depressed!
What was it they told us?
Oh yeah, GET OVER IT.
FILTHY DISEASE RIDDEN QUEERS LOSE BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!
*************************************************************************************
So long sad times!,
Go ‘long bad times!,
We are rid of you at last
Howdy, gay times!
Cloudy gray times,
You are now a thing
Of the past, cause:
Chorus:
Happy days are here again
The skies above are clear again
Let us sing a song of cheer again
Happy days are here again
Altogether shout it now!
There’s no one who can doubt it now
So let’s tell the world about it now
Happy days are here again
Your cares and troubles are gone;
There’ll be no more from now on
Happy days are here again
The skies above are clear again
Let us sing a song of cheer again
Happy days are here again
This one is going to be very tight, though trending the right way. Keep praying.
That's what I was just thinking.
Thank GOD for small favors! And it’s only Tuesday. Great news.
CNN calling it FOR Bloomberg.
Only 28% reporting at 11pm? What do they do up there, chisel their votes on stone tablets?
Never mind her....Perez Hilton must be having a hissy fit by now..........
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!
Is Portland in? And other urban areas, like, um, Bangor?
Sorry, don’t know Maine so well.
I’m not celebrating just letting folks know the latest numbers I have seen. Link is to the Newspaper website, so others can check as time goes by.
I agree a 1 point margin with 72% still uncounted is certainly to close to get excited about, it was just meant as an update.
Unfortunately the left managed to get legal medical marijuana on the same ballot as the homosexual agenda which means it may win.
I have no idea which districts are in, I am only passing on results from Bangor News results site. 28% of districts reporting in that number, I don’t have a breakdown of which ones.
Woo Hoo! Now this is something to really celebrate!! Thank You Heavenly Father! We prayed that the night would turn out like this, and He answered our prayers!!!
In the same closet :)
Medical weed? Not to worry....this is Maine and not Florida.....I can see the old timers in Florida wanting it.....in Maine however...I bet they can’t even grow pot up there it is so damn cold.
Re: “Wow, isn’t Maine kinda liberal and Tolerant ?????? “
***********************
That’s an understatement! Liberal, tolerant, and very gay in some parts, i.e., Ogunquit and other towns.
I just find it hard to believe that half of the residents of Main believe sodomy is ok.
this is gonna be a very close vote. can they dispute a referendum like this? or is that only for human elections?
:’)
Unfortunately the legal marijuana passed (it is at 61% with 38% votes in), I meant that the pot heads might be enough to block the pro marriage measure banning homosexual “marriage”.
Why? 2/3rd think Pots ok.
With 32% in 62% approving Gay Marriage.
10% think it's OK.
40% think it's nobody's business.
Major marijuana busts every few years.
Ok, now its saying 51% vote in 50.31% reject Gay Marriage.
Looks like a nailbiter
You get out into the sticks of Maine, and you are way, way out. Either up in the “County” or back west up near Rangley. They are small, but not archaic. Probably dealing with some old technology, but the delays are probably more due to distance getting the ballots back to the courthouse....
I truly hope that this lead stays and even increases. Praise The LORD!!!

10,000 vote lead is biggest of night for the good guys!!!!!
Same difference to me. Like saying 10% think prostitution is ok, 40% think it is nobodys business. I think both are wrong and if they must exist, they should exist in the closet.
Whoops, that’s 2.5% lead for rejection. Looks like trending is in right direction.
60% reporting
Yes 182,360 51.6%

Leads grows to 11,000!
I am assuming this is the rural vote beginning to turn up?
The state has been under a constant flood of liberals and moonbats moving there for 30 + years. As per moonbat motive, they have gotten themselves involved with local gov., elections, school board etc. to help the ignorant natives of Maine whom they find ‘ quaint, better seen than heard and in need of enlightenment ‘.
The numbers of people you meet there who were not born there stagger the imagination. Once a solid Republican state with exceptional natives the state is a damned mess of moonbats.

12,000-the lead grows!!!
We are winning in Washington State as well!!!
Washington State has swung the other way:
Approve or reject a bill that makes same-sex partner rights equivalent to those of married spouses
Approve 442,690 52.0%
Reject 408,476 48.0
Yep. I sure appreciate the influx of brainless leftist asshats moving into Utah from California after they turned it into an unsustainable socialist dungheap.

Oddly enough, the rural areas don’t seem to reporting any more slowly than York or Cumberland counties. HUGE prosodomy vote out of Cumberland.

This isn’t going to last forever.
The way the trend is, Over the next 5-10 years we’ll be suffering defeat on alot of these gay marriage referendums.
