Nope. I’ll support the more conservative Republican in the primary, and then him again in the general.
That would be Johnson. Not Rand
Evidence of that?
Who are you referring to? Because Johnson’s two opponents consist of a pro-choice for states, isolationist, libertarian and a former delegate for Bill Clinton.
I want to know how Johnson’s platform will differ from the other two.
Bill is a constitutionalist, moral conservative, personhood pro-life, peace through strength Reaganite.
The other two aren’t.
Sure, where to begin?
Rand against Iraq and Afghan war, US should leave Iran alone and let em have nukes, against Patriot Act, he’s friends with Kucinich, calls coal “dirty”, would legalize most or all drugs, is close to 9/11 Truthers.
If your a libertarian - he’s great. But, I’m a conservative. I’ll go with the conservative Bill Johnson. Thankfully, your in Missouri - so you can’t vote. I’m in KY and can vote. Good day.
If he’s a serious candidate, he should run in the Republican primary, as Doug Hoffman did.
Will he occupy the seat held by Jim Bunning if he wins? Is there a Democrat in the race who is a threat to take that seat?
You have things exactly backwards.
Doug Hoffman didn't run in a Republican primary. He is the nominee of the Conservative Party of New York.
And Bill Johnson IS running in the KY Republican primary.
Yes. Jack Conway is the likely rodent nominee. If Paul is the GOP nominee, Conway will have an edge. Conway has won statewide, Paul has not.
Where have you been the past month? HOFFMAN ran as a CONSERVATIVE PARTY member, not a Republican.
Additionally, THERE WAS NO PRIMARY FOR NY-23. Dede was hand-picked by the local GOP without a primary.
I’m sorry, conservatives aren’t that ignorant. Please hand in your moniker.
I'd like to see Johnson get more play.
Trey Grayson has the best chance of winning. Very few Republicans have won statewide races in KY (only 5 since the early 1970s). He’s won twice. Paul is going to easily be painted as a Paleo-Libertarian kook in the tradition of his father...
Hoffman ran for the Republican nod. There was no “primary”, but he campaigned and lobbied the GOP party bosses for the nod, and didn’t get it. Hoffman is a lifelong Republican - read his bio.
But that’s not what you said, or what I responded to.
