It seems Mr. Obama and his henchmen have finally crossed the line. While your children are at school and you are hard at work trying to get though this nightmarish economy, the Obama followers are using all their power to undermine your parental authority by injecting your children with the Swine Flu Vaccine without your permission. Injecting vaccine into children that have prior medical condition; an injection that ended up putting a child into the hospital.

Yet, the school claims that this was an accident, an accident without the permission of the parents, an accident that had the Department of Health asking the parent of the hospitalized child to sign a consent form after the girl was injected and hospitalized.

The only problem is that if this truly was an accident as they claim, then why have children been vaccinated at more than one school, to more than one child whose parents did not give permission?

The answer is, it isn’t, and for those of you who would argue and give the Obama schools the benefit of the doubt, I would then say that it if you call this an accident then I guess pigs really do fly.

Remember, it takes a village to raise a child, and that village these days is The Obama Party.

One of my daughters (epilepsy & a brain injury) got her H1N1 shot yesterday, but there wasn’t enough for my dauhgter with severe asthma.

I don’t understand how some people on FR can be fiercely opposed to Obama and his policies, yet they buy into the hysteria that we all need to take the vaccine and that we can trust our government on this.

I don’t trust Obama, our government, and Sebelius AT ALL.

This vaccine was rushed into production without being rigorously tested, uses mercury as a preservative and has a high risk of Guillain-Barre Syndrome (paralysis).

The risk for complications from H1N1 for some high risk groups groups (epileptics and other neurological problems, asthma, diabetics) is far greater than the risks from the vaccine.

You are right. The government took over H1N1 vaccine distribution, and they are failing. We don’t normally have these problems with seasonal flu.

I’ve called our county health department (Santa Clara County in California), and they don’t have answers.

Then I do wonder if my daughter had H1N1 a few weeks ago. She got what seemed like a bad cold (headache, tired, low fever 99, stuffy nose, mild cough) - doctor said it was just a cold. A few days later, we got notice that their school had confirmed H1N1.

My other daughter was sick over the summer, and it seemed like a cold also. (Her colds are always bad because they trigger her asthma.)

I know my husband, son, and I have not had H1N1 because we haven’t been sick.

I’m a little worried about getting it because my asthma is flaring up right now. I don’t like the idea of getting flu while I’m having asthma problems.

You should consult with your family doctor and do some of your own research online.

I wouldn’t presume to tell anyone to take or not take the vaccine.

All I would say is never trust the government, particularly when it comes to your family’s health

The easiest way for us laymen to tell the difference between a cold and the flu is how fast they set in. A cold comes on slowly and symptoms get worse over a couple of days. The flu hits you quickly, you feel fine at 10 am and at 11am you're running a fever, back ache, etc.

Best protection from the flu is zinc, vitamin C, wash hands often, don't touch your face without first washing your hands, gargle with warm salt water twice a day and carry around a saline nasal spray and use when ever you leave a crowded room, around someone with symptoms, etc.

I rarely trust the government, and I definitely don’t trust them on anything having to do with medical issues.

I’ve been talking to my doctors, and reading everything online. Our whole family has been taking vitamin D and C. I’m also the washing hand Czar. I keep hand-sanitizer in the car. Kids get in the car, and I pass the hand-sanitizer around.

My daughter with epilepsy got the vaccine yesterday, and so far no problems.

I know kids with epilepsy that have had a hard time with H1N1. Some have ended up in the hospital. My daughter is also having a hard time with low vitamin D levels due to her anti-seizure medication stripping her of vitamin D. Her vitamin D levels are coming up, but she is still very low.

My daughter has both. She got her original brain injury from a respiratory virus (RSV) when she was a baby. She almost died from that, and the risk of dying from RSV are much smaller than the risk of dying from flu.

My pediatrician only got 40 vaccines. They had to prioritize who got the shot based on CDC guidelines.

I know that my daughter with epilepsy and a brain injury got the shot and my daughter with asthma did not. They said my daughter with asthma will probably get one with their next shipment.

From what I have read on the epilepsy forum, 2/3 of the deaths from H1N1 have had neurological problems.

I think it will be okay for us. We are on top of the situation. I already have tamiflu in case my daughter with asthma gets it.

I don’t think it is time to panic, but I also don’t think it should be taken lightly, especially if you (or your kids) are in high risk groups.

I just get upset at some people who are saying it is not big deal. More kids are dying from this than season flu. I think every life is valuable.

Just an Observation:

Putin TV is putting out a lot of “reports” about the US economy and dollar crashing, conspiracies about the vaccines and flu, pro-jihadist, anti-US leftist nonsense, etc. At the same time the Russians are working to vaccinate their population and folks over there are not saying the virus is nothing. They check all people entering the country for the flu and isolate those they believe have the flu to protect their population.

In case you have forgotten, KGB man Putin hates America and Americans. He ran unfriendly news organizations out of business. He is arming Iran with nukes and running clearance for Iran at the UN. He has threatened the US and Israel to come to Iran’s defense if we take out Iran’s nukes.

I understand the pressure you feel under because you are in a situation where you can not go along with those who say the flu is mild and the vaccine unnecessary. Although that may be true for most people here, for you and your kids, it is different because of the risk you face from flu complications are higher than the risk presented by the vaccine as best you can tell.

H1N1 went around in the 70's. Many adults have antibodies to it, but younger people do not. This is part of the reason that the H1N1 demographics are inverted.

To lay this at Obama's feet is completely absurd. A school clinic violated the law and should be severely punished. But it's completely irrational to relate this violation to your imagined federal conspiracy to kill us all with vaccines.
