Just 14% of U.S. voters say Hillary Clinton would be doing a worse job as president than Barack Obama if she had won last year’s Democratic presidential nomination.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 27% of voters think Clinton would be doing a better job as president while 49% say she would be performing about the same.
Democrats who think things would be different with Clinton are evenly divided between whether they’d be better or worse. Republicans and unaffiliated voters who think things would be different tend to believe Clinton would have done a better job as President.
Perhaps one explanation for this is that voters see Obama as more politically liberal than Clinton. Forty-nine percent (49%) say Clinton is a liberal, but 38% see her as a moderate. By comparison, 74% say Obama is a liberal, while just 20% view him as a moderate.
Voters are evenly divided as to whether Clinton would have had more influence if she stayed in the Senate rather than becoming secretary of State. Thirty-five percent (35%) say she would have had more influence, but 36% disagree. Twenty-nine percent (29%) aren’t sure.
Fifty-nine percent (59%) of voters at least somewhat approve of the job Clinton is doing as secretary of State while 37% disapprove. The new survey was taken as Clinton was making a high-profile but troubled visit to Pakistan. These numbers are unchanged since late July.

I got a birthday card last week with a cartoon of Hillary in the Oval Office on the cover. Inside it says “see there are scarier things than getting old.” Kind of funny. I told the person who gave it to me it is not getting old that is more scary. What we really have in the Oval Office is truly scary! And I would have been a little less scared if it were Hillary. She would not have been as invulnerable as B0 because she and her staff couldn’t use race as a weapon.
In any case I haven’t looked at many funny 0 cards in stores. I’ll bet none of them suggest he is scary in any way. Just like with TV comedy I’ll bet any barbs pointed at him are very mild and don’t dare say anything mean. Contrast this though with the vicious “humor” aimed at Bush, Cheney, and Palin.
Obama is a blessing in disguise. Hillary and Obama are different sides of the same coin (Alinski loving, Chicago politicians). At least Obama is in our face telling us what he's planning. He surrounds himself with Marxists and states openly that we can't stop him. He's giving us a chance to fight.
We'd have no such quarter with Hillary.
I think I have to agree. I do think, however, that there might not have been too much difference btw her and McCain and I was a McCain volunteer.

I think it is clear that Obama is a Fabian communist and a snake oil salesman. He is a deracinated and lonely person who does not identify with any country or ethnic group. He seeks personal validation by pleasing his father figures among the academic left.
Hillary is a devious, yet tranparent, control freak, her impulse is to bully and command, she embraces socialism because it is congenial to her lust for power.
IMHO Hilary Clinton is at best a terrible SOS. By taking that office she has been neutered. Her public pronouncements are wimpy and uninformed. She looks like a deer in the headlights and has been pushed aside for others, i.e. the posturing John Kerry.
