Outrageous.
I can't believe this is happening.

And, of course that chicken won't contain things like melamine, which was in the pet food, and infant formula.
Kidney failure, anyone?

Agriculture used to be viewed as a militarily sensitive industry.
You can’t field a military without feeding them. Therefore we should never become dependent on foreign countries for food.
The only good news is that after all of the China food scares, few Americans are going to be willing to buy China raised chickens, FDA inspected or not.

You will never know if Chinese chicken is in restaurant food, not to mention frozen dinners.
I already avoid all shrimp.

"I can't believe this is happening." We do have options in my neck of the woods. Chukar partridge, quail and cottontail rabbits. Grown in America and just a gunshot away. If I see a chicken with grown in China stamped on it's ass I'll take a pass.

I read that American chicken producers are developing their own farms in China, then exporting the chicken to the states. So, it’ll say ‘Tyson,’ but come from China, where who knows what was done in the process.
There is enough filth in the American chicken production
process; we certainly don’t need to go to China to import impurities and sickness.
Just about every month I find another reason to stay vegan.

Why would anyone want those diseased chickens? I’m surprised that Dems are wanting this. Don’t they know that Domestic agriculture has a smaller Carbon Footprint.

"President Obama signed an appropriations bill Wednesday that clears the way for the imports by allowing the U.S. Department of Agriculture to conduct in China the safety inspections U.S. law requires for any country exporting food to America."Wow! That makes me feel better. We get outbreaks of Ecoli from Mexican produce and they are not halfway around the world.

After losing our family doggie to melamine-adulterated food from china, I now choose to avoid chinese food in any form.
It's sometimes quite difficult determining the nation of origin of food ingredients, but that does not stop me from inquiring.

That is the truth.
I work for a company that is developing a turbine that runs on poultry waste. They can power their farms on something they would normally have to pay to dispose of.
