Gov. Schwarzenegger stops by an event honoring Willie Brown and the room erupts in heckling, profanity, and slurs against Arnold...who of course goes out of his way to distance himself from the Republican Party immediately but it does no good as gay activists in the crowd let him have it.

Well Arnold nobody likes you when you’re in the middle. Get used to reality, there will always be people who don’t like you because of your viewpoints. Pick a damn side and deal with it.
You think being in the middle gets you and liberal votes? They vote for the people to the left of you. You think you get conservative votes being in the middle? NOPE.
RINOs and moderates are killing themselves. The country has been roughly 40% conservative, 40% liberal, 20% undecided/middle/moderate. PANDER to the 20% and have both sides (80%) hate you.
That’s what you’re in for Arnold. You and all other RINOs and people with no core values and no real beliefs.
