Chris Christie's Next Case: Who Stole My Election?
Wall Street Journal ^ | Nov 2, 2009 | John Fund

Posted on 11/02/2009 2:39:59 PM PST by JrsyJack

The race for governor in New Jersey is so close in final polls that it may well end up in a recount -- the 1981 election did and was decided by less than 1,800 votes. If there is a recount, you can bet disputes about absentee ballots will loom large. Moreover, if serious allegations of fraud emerge, you can also expect less-than-vigorous investigation by the Obama Justice Department -- which showed just how seriously it takes such allegations when it walked away from an open-and-shut voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party in Philadelphia earlier this year.

If it goes into recount, the Dems will win, just like Al Franken did.

Aren't elections determined by counting the votes of those who actually vote? This makes it sound like the opinion polls have something to do with who's elected???

Voter reform is something that should have been fixed when the GOP had the majority. They should have gone nuclear to fix it. The Dems are stealing elections left and right and they did nothing.

Banana Republic.

You left off the sarcasm tag. The only way there will be a riot in NJ is if Christie wins.

OK then let the chips fall where they may, and maybe one day we'll learn.

I predict that vote fraud in New Jersey will become a national issue. And Holder won’t do anything about it.

There’s always voter fraud in New Jersey. The question is, will it be massive enough to change the outcome of the election.

There are only a handful of elections tomorrow. Aren’t there enough people to be all over them, watching everything that goes on? I realize its not possible when there is a national election, but these should be totally covered.

Well YES there will be voter fraud in NJ! In a similar story, the sun will rise tomorrow.

But the only way a riot will occur is if Christie is declared winner. Repubs don’t riot!

A whole lot of things should have happened when the GOP had all 3 branches .. but the do nothing, spineless cretins without leadership ..... did NOTHING.

But then again .. that is not a bad thing either. I shudder everytime a govt. body comes in session.

NJ Democrats have already gone on records asking the Secretary of State to accept absentee ballot requests where the signatures don't match but the addresses do.

Sadly enough Christie will not win the election. the Dems realize that this is genocide, they cannot lose or the Obama agenda is dead. they will pull out all of the stops and do whatever is required to win. But, Christie has already won a great victory for conservatives. he is scaring the living sh_t out of every dem wonk, including obama.

By who? SUV mom’s in Wyckoff and Franklin Lakes? C’mon...business as usual. My grandfather was a teamster for 40 years...drove a truck around the clock in the worst conditions all over the state. When he retired they told him, too bad...no money for you.

When he went to vote in the 1960s in the Presidential elections he got down to the precinct only to find that someone had already voted for him. He never attempted to vote again and was told if he complained about it then he could take it up with his union boss.

NJ is nothing more than a better looking Chicago.

I don't believe that. Republicans don't riot. Remember B1 Bob Dornan? Everyone knew the election was stolen, no one did a thing. Matter of fact, IIRC the Republican Party wouldn't fight it because they thought the Hispanics would be offended. The race card.

No, if it happens, the Republicans will whine and then lay down and lick their onions. Assuming they can find them.

If they were truly a separate party instead of "Not so fast!" faction of the Federal Government Party, they would have.

People have to get out in large numbers, no more sitting on the fence. Voters in non Democrat controlled areas are especially needed since it is much harder for Democrats to pull their shenanigans in areas where Republicans are in charge. The vote in smaller cities and towns has to overcome the massive fraud that is going to take place in the Democrat controlled cities.

If Acorn fails to deliver NJ it will be a huge blow to them. Nobody supports ACORN out of a spirit of charity.

On the other hand, if Christie loses and it was as a result of absentee ballots it is almost certainly the result of fraud.

Vote fraud isn’t going to happen folks, and here’s why: Christie is a former federal attorney. That’s why Daggett is in the race to split the vote, and why the Dems are panicking. If there’s fraud, Christie is not going to tolerate it.

B1 Bob (who was becoming an annoying old crank in his later years) was in a district that was becoming Democratic anyway. He would have been out the next election, and the GOP decided not to waste their time.

He would have been out the next election, and the GOP decided not to waste their time.

The GOP reasoning was both cowardly and shortsighted. Regardless of the future leanings of the district, by not fighting back against the fraud the GOP encouraged it elsewhere. No voter fraud should go unchallenged.
