Without actually seeing the video I’m guessing that he wasn’t defending as much as he was lumping her in with other conservatives they really hate.

Biden tries so hard to be clever, but he just ends up looking like a retard.
Biden might actually be smarter than he normally is on this.. seeing a bunch of Dems attacking Palin will rally the conservative base even more. That’s the last thing anyone hoping to get a D elected anytime soon should be doing. Yea, it might help fire up your 20% radical leftist base, but it’ll fire up the conservative base and turn off the moderates far more.
The easiest way to keep a dem from winning an election is to make sure they are shown for what they really are, not what they want to portray themselves as.
You’ll notice that they did not show the crowd. I’m betting it was no more than a few dozen, at best. Biden’s crowds during the campaign averaged less than 1000, and frequently were in the dozens. In Williamsport PA Biden drew less than 500 to a heated gym, a few hours later in the same town, Palin drew 13,000 to an outdoor venue where temps were in the 30’s.
Looking forward to the day when Sarah is doing rallies again.
