The tale of the turbulent year since Barack Obama's historic election win is told by his evolving political theme: once he promised "Change We Can Believe In" and now he warns that "change is hard".
On November 4, 2008, Obama bathed in the adoration of a crowd of tens of thousands in a Chicago park, after beating Republican John McCain to the presidency in an election that promised to reshape his nation.

They chanted "Yes we can" on that clear hope-filled night in Obama's hometown, and tears streamed down thousands of cheeks as the president-elect proclaimed America was still a place where anything was possible.
"It's been a long time coming," Obama said. "But tonight, because of what we did on this date, in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to America."
A year on, the historic promise of America's first black president is being tested by the grim grind of governing a divided nation humbled by the worst recession in decades.
Abroad, Obama's policy of engaging US foes has so far yielded few breakthroughs, and the president who came to power vowing to end one war, in Iraq, must now decide whether to escalate another -- in Afghanistan.

On the international front, he has transformed the climate for US diplomacy, and promised a "new beginning" with the Muslim world during a powerful speech in Cairo. But Republicans said he was on a global apology tour.
Well, thanks AP for reminding me how destructive Obama has been. "Stem Cell" research is simply window dressing for brutal abortion policy. "Banned torture?" There never was any "torture." There were enhanced interrogation techniques - and I had worse than water boarding done to me in military training to learn how to survive if I ever became a POW. So that is a red herring.
"outlawed pay discrimination for female workers?" What the hell is that? Does anyone really believe there was a standing policy or law in place that allowed companies to "discriminate" like that? Or, is this the old feminist lie re-told, and Obama simply gave them even more bucks and percs over men to pay the feminists off.
"reined in predatory credit card companies" - yeah, sure he did.
Let's not forget the "Hate Crimes" law he just signed (and that was attached to the Defense Bill so the evil Democrats knew it would pass. It will outlaw Christianity and the Bible, but give protection to pedophiles and child rapists.
I gotta say this Obama - you sure are one disaster after another.
McCain paid his female workers more than Obamateur did- it came out during the campaign. More lies and subterfuge from Mullah Obama.
When you lie it eventually bits you in the A##.

RIDICULOUS

Controversial New Video of Obamas Pastor
AIM Column | By Cliff Kincaid | November 1, 2009
A new video of Jeremiah Wright has surfaced, showing Barack Obama’s pastor of 20 years praising Marxism and discussing his ties to communists in El Salvador and Nicaragua and the Libyan government. Equally important, Wright is being introduced in the video by Robert W. McChesney, co-founder of Free Press, an organization which has come under scrutiny for its links to the Obama Administration and dedication to the transformation and control of the private media in the U.S.
WTF,is his thumb in his ear?
Hmmm...shading his eyes? Thumb in ear going “neener neener neener”? Trying to pick his nose with his thumb but missed? I give up.
To modify something the Duke said, “Change is hard. It’s even harder when you’re stupid.” Nuff said.
All the morons that voted for “Hope and Change” never ever thought it meant them saying, “I hope I have some change left after Obama’s done with me.”
The President of the United States is acting like a Barbie doll...
He is crazy.
I do remember that. It generated tons of "outrage" among feminists in the 90's.
