Analysis Paralysis — too much thinking, not enough common sense. Wasn’t he set to make a decision LAST Friday? He has to have a few more committee meetings and study their recommendations. Until he has so darned many recommendations that his head is swimming.

“Roosevelt Within Weeks of Decision to Reinforce Normandy Invasion”

We are sooooooooooooooooo skrood....

I'll bet the decision would have come much sooner if Obama had to sit in an dark LP in Afghanistan and think about it.

Better get ready for the term “WEEKS” with this Administration.

Already it’s been Weeks and more Weeks that we have waited and are still waiting for the swine flu vaccinations.

Be prepared to wait in line to see a doctor for Weeks if the Universal Health Care, or what ever the name of the moment is, passes.

President Obama is within weeks of making a decision on sending additional troops to Afghanistan, Chief White House Advisor David Axelrod said on "Face the Nation" Sunday.

This request, by his hand-picked general McChrystal who has been working on Afghanistan since March, has been sitting at the President's In-File since AUGUST by many accounts. If we are still "within weeks of making a decision", then it will be probably 3 months or more of 'intense concentration'.

Hey Obama, how many rounds of golf are you going to be playing before you decide to go CHICKEN? How many soldiers are going to die while you waffle? Would that those caskets he saluted in Dover could open up and those MEN could remind him that he is their LEADER. This is the results of no executive experience and a legalistic mindset being put into the White House. It is not a place for 'Affirmative Action'!!!

weeks?! LOL!

of course, you would think he wasn’t fulfilling his obligations if you thought he was looking out for AMERICAN interests.

it’s fairly simple:

A. sending more troops == more dead AQ
B. no reinforcements == more dead US soldiers

by not making a decision, he has made his decision... and is telegraphing it to the middle east

August 19, 2011. (CBSNews) “President Obama is within weeks of making a decision on sending additional troops to Afghanistan, Chief White House Advisor David Axelrod said on “Face the Nation” Sunday.

And, in a related story, Taliban forces report that U.S military survivors presently being detained in Afghanistan are being treated “according to Muslim custom” and that reports of forcible amputations of the prisoners’ right hands are “Western slanders.” Secretary of State Hilary Clinton says she hopes that negotiations for the release of all NATO forces can begin in the near term, now that former President Karzai’s execution has eliminated a source of contention between the U.S. and the Taliban Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

Yeah. He's already put in about 20 hours on this thing over the past 8 months. No sense getting excited and overdoing it.

Take your time, Bozo. It's only American soldiers dying there almost every day...

Hey, it's not like this was something important, like getting the Olympics for Chicago.

The beauty of this headline is that they can continue to use it for the next 6 or 8 months.

The rumor a few days ago was that he had decided on 20,000 more troops (half of what McChrystal asked for, after being pressured to reduce his original request...one third of what McChrystal really wanted). Steve Hayes on FNC thought that sending only 20,000 more would guarantee a failure.
