Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh warned in a TV interview of unprecedented "radical leadership" in the White House and called President Barack Obama a narcissist who is "immature, inexperienced, in over his head."
Limbaugh, who regularly rails against the administration in his weekday radio program, said the health care overhaul working through Congress would become "the biggest snatch of freedom and liberty" ever seen in the United States.
In an interview taped for "Fox News Sunday" nearly a year after the presidential election, Limbaugh derided Obama's recent visit to Dover Air Force Base to observe the return of 18 service members' remains from Afghanistan. He called it a "photo op" designed to "create the impression that he has all of this great concern" while he dithers over a new strategy for the 8-year-old war.
"He really has no experience running anything. He's very young. I think he's got an out-of-this-world ego. He's very narcissistic. And he's able to focus all attention on him all the time," Limbaugh said.
Limbaugh often calls Obama a "man-child president" on his syndicated radio show. "That description is simply a way to cut through the noise and say he's immature, inexperienced, in over his head," he said in the TV interview.
In response, Obama senior adviser David Axelrod said, "It's a surreal day when you're getting lectures on humility from Rush Limbaugh," and he dismissed Limbaugh as "an entertainer."
Axelrod said he believes most Americans appreciate Obama's visit to Dover Air Force Base and called it appropriate.
"The president of the United States went to Dover to represent the American people and pay his respects to the families who had made so much of a sacrifice, to those brave service people who made the ultimate sacrifice," Axelrod said on CBS' "Face the Nation."

Yet he dishonors them by being indecisive while 68,000 troops have their necks on the line.
No points for stating the blindingly obvious, Rush.
Rush tends to be precient about these sorts of things - he’s a good judge of human character. If Obama is a list of all those things, then thank the Lord. Think of what the man could do if he was truly effective.
In any case, we’ll get to see if Rush is right about five years from now.
Zero is in so far over his head that by 2012 it’s going to take BP to drill a well to find him.
Dear Axle, If he was so sincere why did he have all those
photographers? Why not just appear to the families?
Photo-OP plain and simple.
And Ax, what ABOUT those 18 families that refused to
appear with HIM?
Better luck next time in say 20 years.
Nice of President Chav..er...Obama to take time off from his golf game and $100/lb beef to do a photo op that also benefits troops.
I wonder if any sheeple tuned in?
Tell us something we don’t know, Rush.
Who better than an “entertainer” to criticize a media mirage?
There was many here saying what has took Rush a year to say. Didn’t take a brilliant thinker to know “That One” should never be in the White House.
>>>There was many here saying what has took Rush a year to say. Didnt take a brilliant thinker to know That One should never be in the White House.<<<
True enough. Teach me to press the “enter” key before my first cup of coffee (up here in Alaska the sun isn’t even up yet).
LOL
Not directed at you personally red.
In response, Obama senior adviser David Axelrod said, “It’s a surreal day when you’re getting lectures on humility from Rush Limbaugh,” and he dismissed Limbaugh as “an entertainer.”
The sheer irony of this is that WE SHOULD BE SAYING THE PRESIDENT IS “JUST AN ENTERTAINER NOT A PRESIDENT!!”
You really need to work on your trolling.
Wow, Rush read my mind, as usual.
ROFLMAO — Thanks Rush to telling it like it is about Bambi. You said what many of us (and more every day) are thinking.
Note to Axie: If Rush is “just” an “entertainer” - what are you so worried about?
This comment is for a guy who’s never served in a high post in government before and is the political guru that elected a two-year obscure Senator with absolutely no record of achievement to the the Presidency.
O’Bummer’s visit to Dover was a cheap political stunt. I’m not impressed in the least.
Speak for yourself Axlerod. Your bosse’s appearence at Dover stunk to high Heaven of opportunism.
"The president of the United States went to Dover to represent the American people and pay his respects to the families who had made so much of a sacrifice, to those brave service people who made the ultimate sacrifice," Axelrod said on CBS' "Face the Nation."
Hey Axelrod - Rush speaks for more Americans than you do. You definitely don't speak for me - so stop bragging that "most Americans appreciate Obama's visit to Dover Air Force Base and called it appropriate" Most of the families that would not participate in the charade did not call it appropriate either!!
While Obama is making photo-ops - our troops are dying every day. Obama praises 'brave service people who made the ultimate sacrifice? Just because he mouths some words that he thinks are what we want to hear, does not hide his actions showing that he doesn't give a damn about our troops.
Rush is right!! Every thing he said about Obama is right on the money. We, the people & Fox News do not think what Obama is doing has any honor or integrity...We do not find it 'entertaining' like you & Obama do.
Then we have this moron Obama. He took the press with him so his picture would get taken besides our dead coming home. Most of the families there refused to go on camera with him. It's amazing he would even have asked them. The only reason Obama was there was because of the heat he is taking over not being able to make decision about Afganistan. Imagine that, Obama is so smart but he can't tie his own shows by himself.
He is going to be impeached or thrown out of office for some reason. It will happen.
Axelrod and the rest of the minions of the Dark One (and I don’t mean complexion) continue to attack the messenger instead of refuting the message...... I wonder why that is.
president hussein?
There was a good article not that long ago saying we all should refrain from calling liberals liberals; rather, call them what they are—marxists, commies, etc.
Likewise, why continue to refer to a usurper as president?
“Present” usurper should be more like it!
Semper Honesty
Eh? Trolling??
Rush, like many here, has been saying this all along. He said it before the election and he is still saying it. But now, he has ample evidence of the mounting failures of the Obama administration.
That is what happens when one has their head up their ass. Obama is not only over extended he is out of his league (Mentally).
I'm going to disagree with you and Rush.
I don't think Obama's "in over his head" -- I think the things he appears not to be handling well, he simply doesn't care about instead, while he focuses (how well, I wouldn't know) on gathering ever more power into the White House so that he can lean on e.g. Fox News cable, whose producers his goons successfully influenced last week not to re-cablecast a news special on Obama's murky (heavily concealed and obscured) background. I'm sure legal and licensure threats were involved (remember, Zero's got a radical "czar" sitting over in the FCC's offices), and getting Fox to stop the rebroadcast (which originally went out a couple of weeks ago) was a small but intensely dark victory for the totalitarians.
Nobody can fail to recognize the challenge of disagreeing with Rush's political judgments, which are almost always sound, but in this case, I think Rush is in fact underestimating the Leftist -- hell, Stalinist -- cabal working on Obama's projects in the White House.
Remember, Rush, it isn't just Obama. It's a whole wrecking crew who have been at this since the 1920's and who have included such successful wreckers and spies as Owen Lattimore, Alger Hiss, Harry Hopkins, and Harry Dexter White. There always were -- we know this now, courtesy of the Venona releases -- and no doubt still are, a whole, capable crew of such people working 24/7 on compassing America's destruction and our enslavement.
It isn't just one guy. It's a conspiracy, and they have help -- governmental help -- from overseas.
What planet are you living on? This comment makes the Top 10 most uninformed comments in FR history.
“It was always downplayed but once a week Bush and Cheney would have various soldiers over for a lunch, BAR-B-Q or something. Both Bush and Cheney did a lot to keep in contact with returning and injured soldiers. A lot more than anyone here will ever know about.”
So very true. President Bush did a great deal behind the scenes and refused to use it as a photo op. God Bless him.
Maybe we should just start calling him Sauron. Or maybe Asmodeus.
"I am the entertainer,
I come to do my show.
You've heard my latest record,
It's been on the radio.
Ah, it took me years to write it,
They were the best years of my life.
It was a beautiful song.
But it ran too long.
If you're gonna have a hit,
You gotta make it fit--
So they cut it down to 3:05."
Let's hope that we can indeed cut Obambi's song short.
Rush’s words are a good guage of what a HOLLOW party the Republicans have become —he’s having to take up THEIR slack.
If we had 20 Sarah Palins, we might not need a Rush.

I, too, was trying to identify the wall off which that “trolling” remark came...
LOL, well, he and Saruman also created many jobholders .... (read: orcs) ..... so net-net, he didn't create any new jobs for people.
He was all about a protection racket.
(scratching head...)
Coming from a Joseph Goebbels wannabee himself, that is funny!
The fascinating thing about Rush is a major part of his broadcast persona....his supposed egotism...is a parody of mainstream media and politicians REAL egotism.
One can always tell a shallow (usually liberal) person, who listens to Rush and thinks he’s actually arrogant—when it’s all a part of his schtick.
That mainstream media liberals and folks like Axelrod assume Limbaugh is egotistical, speaks for itself.
Did they ask Axelrod how bringing along all the photographers helped Obama pay respect to the families?
Axelrod apparently shares at least one quality with Barack Obama: A lack of a sense of humor, especially a lack of appreciation for comedic hyberbole (which is typical of narcissists, due to their taking themselves so seriously).
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find only things evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelogus
Well I for one am glad someone is saying it out loud on TV, I dont see too many doing that, and I am Glad he did it.
Everyone else is talking about how much this will cost Under 1 trillion over a Trillion ,who is talking about it in strictly Loss of FREEDOM terms? How much will you sell your Freedom For? A colonoscopy, A flu shot?
Limbaugh’s new strategy is to “get inside the head” of the marxist usurper and his court jesters. I say it’s working. I also say Rush has a couple of large brass ones.
Lame duck urkel!
Obama blames others like Fox news and Rush Limbaugh. He has too big an ego to look at himself in the mirror and see his own failings. This is a man?
Don't bother me on Afghanistan.
I'm pondering Troop Strength now.
I'll get back to you in a Month.
Hey, wait a sec...... what's this?
Well Dang, I found my Flashlight!
Say what you will about Bush, but the man had enormous respect and empathy for the families of fallen soldiers and his visits were NEVER photo ops.
The ONLY Americans who appreciate obama's visit to Dover are the ones who either hate the military or have no experience with the military or are too stupid to see beyond their simplistic politics to see obama clearly.
obama is a very small boy masquerading as the POTUS. All he does is for the camera and his ego.
