Sarah Palin's unwanted biographer, Joe McGinniss, doesn't buy rumors that she and her husband, Todd, may split -but if there is trouble in that marriage, he promises to find it.
The author of "Fatal Vision" and "The Selling of the President" was outbid recently when he offered to pay $59,999 to dine with the former GOP vice presidential candidate at a charity auction. But that hasn't deterred him. He recently spent three weeks in Palin's town in Wasilla, Alaska.
"I stopped by her house," says McGinniss, who brought along a copy of his 1980 book, "Going to Extremes," about his adventures in Alaska. "Her son Track answered the door, [just back from Iraq]. We had a pleasant chat. He said he'd give her the book."
McGinniss was struck by the size of the construction on the lot the Palins have bought next to their present home.
"They're building another house and an airplane hangar," he says. "It's like a summer White House in the making. Just based on the size of the compound, I'd say Sarah and Todd are staying together."
As for reports of infidelity, he says, "I'm not intending to write a salacious book about Sarah Palin's sex life. But if it's true, I'll find out."

The problem now is that the MSM's overzealous investigation of Sarah Palin's life has already turned over all the stones and what's left is the droppings from slugs like Levi Johnston.
So Joe McGiniss has to hope for something to happen between now and his publisher's deadline to punch up promotion and sales.
Thus the hints about maybe, just maybe, something about Sarah's sex life.

I’m old enough to remember Joe McGinnis and his Nixon book being heralded as a shining new Journalistic star, along with Woodstein, in the Nixon era. Turns out he was a one-trick pony, and faded faster than ANY celebrated journalist I can think of . He sounds more like the male version of Kitty Kelley.
My Dad wrote about other people. Mostly he was an “AS TOLD TO” writer, but there were a few he wrote without the authorization of the person. Never, ever ever would he be so low as to write something that was totally salacious. He never ever went digging about people’s sex lives. Honestly, I don’t even think he thought about it. But then again, I’m the daughter, and my daddy would never do that! LOL!

I know about that whole dirtdigging operation ( in better days, it was called muckraking, and even though these creeps probably think of themselves like that, it’s actually sleaze of the worst kind.)I wish I had more eyewitness or firsthand accounts of just what happened and how far they went.

Sarah is a baptized Catholic, although not a practicing one. This makes complete sense to me.

Instead they filed endless frivolous ethics complaints which she had to defend. The accusations were enough for the MSM to tout them as true and it cost her and the state lots of money to fight. When she resigned to end the charade they blamed her for quitting. Even some Freepers still call her a quitter.

Dermot Cole at the News-Miner reveals that McGinniss has been lying about his interview and photo requests to the Governor. For instance, he’s been saying that Palin would not cooperate with him unless she got a guarantee the piece would be favorable. Sharon Leighow, Mr. Bill’s deputy, released the actual e-mails in question, and they reveal that Joe McGinniss is full of crap.
