The video linked here shows almost 3 minutes of hirabists training with weapons and other such poor quality offerings, but when you get to 3:00, the viewer is treated to close-ups of a dead coalition soldier. The video is grotesque and shocking. The soldier's dog tags are removed at 3:55, and video of his body continues until 4:06. The video then shifts to showing an arsenal of weapons - those more astute than I can probably tell us what those weapons are - and then the video zooms in at 4:50 on a set of dog tags, presumably from the soldier previously shown.
According to YouTube's Terms of Service, this video should be removed. It was posted October 20, 2009 and has been flagged multiple times. There is no doubt that this video is used to encourage our enemy who is actively killing our countrymen and our allies. Hey YouTube - whose side are you on?
And before someone whines about me denying someone their free speech rights by flagging this piece of video propaganda, please remember that I have as much right to practice MY free speech as does anyone else. And while we'er at it, the bill of rights guarantees free speech to citizens of the United States, not to our enemies at war.

So, according to what I have read recently, Michael Savage and Pastor Manning have been dropped from Youtube, but this trash is allowed on?
How does this compare with YouTube hosting videos of Apache and AC130 gunships hellfiring and strafing groups of the enemy? I’m not trying to argue with ya, I know what you’re getting at, but I’m wondering how you distinguish between the two and justify pulling one but not the other.
When are most of us going to acknowledge that YouTube is nothing more than a libtard outlet?
The apache clips are from thousands of feet and the targets are just bright IR images with no personal information obtainable. Distinguishable dog tags is another story altogether.

It is their website and they ask their users to assist in their policy.
You don't have to assist if you don't want to.
But if you sign-up to post videos you agree to their policy.
If you don't agree with YouTube policy then don't visit YouTube but rather go somewhere else.

It is, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t hold their feet to the fire for aiding and abetting our enemy.
Well hey ZMan, when my brother’s boots are on the ground, or when ANY of our troops have boots on the ground, in enemy territory I don’t hold cotton to my fellow countrymen aiding and abetting the terrorists who are at that very moment doing their dead level best to kill him. That’s pretty much how I distinguish. YouTube/Google is a US company hosted on US servers. Let the terrorist cowards get their own internet servers in their own countries to host their propaganda. Hosting this stuff here in the US is tantamount to treason and should be prosecuted as such.
HA! A little heat to their feet works. There are so many videos on there that SHOULD be down it would make your head spin. There’s one that’s been there for years of MAJ Troy Gilbert who was shot down and YouTube has been notified — probably literally thousands of times — and yet it remains. Unbelievable.

When my father’s boots were on the ground (Iraq), and he was dodging mortar attacks in the green zone, watching our men die from random shots into base, and traveling via armored bus or helicopter between FOBs, I didn’t appreciate it either.

I did not assume the worst - I have just come up against so many people here on FR who think it’s wrong to flag YouTube videos. There are FReepers who believe I am denying someone their free speech rights...or that it’s a lib site and I should just not look there...or even that it’s wrong to try to organize people to flag effectively. There’s a brilliant FReeper who believes it’s wrong for me to be offended. And then there are those who lecture me about wasting bandwidth. I truly just don’t get it when people can’t see the distinctions because it is so plainly clear to me. Sorry if my passion about the issue is translated as assuming the wrong thing about you. Please thank your dad for his service, and thank YOU for your family’s sacrifice of your time with him while he was serving. It’s not easy being a family member of a service member. It truly gives you a different perspective.
