An estimated 200 anti-socialism protesters carried signs and waved at passing motorists for more than two hours yesterday afternoon as they have almost every Saturday for six months at the intersection of Highways K and N in O’Fallon, Mo. Among those participating were three first-generation Americans who took time to share powerful messages every freedom-loving American should hear. Those messages appear in this video.

British by birth and an American citizen since 1976, Anne was born and raised in India. Like Janet Allquist, the 68-year-old grandmother who inspired hundreds to join her at the weekly rallies, she speaks passionately about what’s at stake for Americans if they do not wake up and fight for everything that is right and Constitutional.

Marty tells the story of what happened to his family after Fidel Castro seized power in Cuba and warns Americans that he sees the exact same thing happening here with President Barack Obama and his cohorts working in tandem with a leftist news media.

Finally, Linda speaks with pride and gratefulness about her family’s move to the United States from Brazil — a move that enabled her to become the first member of her family to be born in this country. She goes on to implore other Americans to recognize how good they have it and to fight to prevent what makes this country great from slipping away.

We need more immigrants to come out and tell us what inspired them to move here in the first place.

It was the same for all of us, no matter how far back it was that our families arrived. We were looking for freedom and opportunity, the very things Obama wants to take away from us.

Let me pour a little rain on this parade.

Nice to hear that three new citizens and first generation Americans embrace Conservative values.

However, the big immigration picture is a political and financial catastrophe.

America is creating 125,000 new legal citizens each month, the largest number ever.

Almost 50,000 of those new citizens do not have a high school education.

75%-80% of new legal citizens vote for the Democratic Party.

The American born children of foreign born citizens now vote 60%-65% for the Democratic Party.

Twenty years ago, first generation American born children voted 50% for Republicans.

Demography is destiny.

Conservatism and the Republican Party will become a permanent minority in America if we fail to stop this.

If you paid attention, you would have noticed none of these people are “new citizens.” Instead, they’ve been here for between 30 and 50 years. There’s is not a story for the immigration debate, but a story about Americans appreciating what is good about this country and about what we must fight to preserve.

OK, my error.

So, why specifically focus on “three first generation Americans” to tell that story?

Contrary to popular belief, and in spite of 25 million new citizens since 1980, we are NOT a nation of immigrants.

In 2009 85% of Americans, including me, were born and raised in the USA.

Compared to 2009, two of the three people quoted in the article are from highly aberrant immigrant groups.

The Cubans who came in the 1960’s were of European Spanish ancestry and constituted almost the entire upper middle professional class of Cuba.

They voted almost 90% Republican, and within 15 years they were the wealthiest immigrant group in the history of America.

The British woman shared a common history, common culture, common language, common poltical system, and common economic system with home grown Americans.

In 2009 Europeans, and specifically northern Europeans, constitute less than 5% of those immigrating to America.

America is a democracy, Bob, and the majority rules.

Part of what Conservatives “must fight to preserve” is a sufficient Conservative population to win elections.

Based on America’s current immigration policy, and based on Republican pandering to left wing immigrant groups, Conservative prospects are very grim.
