Canadian police arrest two men sought by FBI (linked to a Detroit Muslim leader killed recently)

TORONTO (Reuters) – Two men sought by the FBI and linked to a Detroit Muslim leader killed by U.S. authorities were arrested in Windsor, Ontario on Saturday, Canadian police said.

Mohammad Al-Sahli, 33, and Yassir Ali Kahn, 30, both from the Windsor, Ontario area, were apprehended without incident on Saturday morning and will appear before an Ontario Superior Court judge on Monday to face extradition to the United States, according to a statement from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

The statement said the two Ontario men were wanted by the FBI for conspiracy to commit federal crimes.

An RCMP spokesman confirmed the two men were linked to a case involving Luqman Ameen Abdullah, 53. Abdullah, the leader of a mostly African-American Muslim separatist group, was shot and killed by authorities in the Detroit area on Wednesday as they moved to arrest him on federal criminal charges, according to the FBI.

As you will likely know, but for others who may not access those fine television entities as CTV and CBC, the lawyer for the two was interviewed.

He immediately damned law enforcement He said he was talking amicably with the men. They were quite prepared to surrender. Then in came the special squad, frightening the women and children of the accused.

Trouble is with the lawyer and he has to do his job of course, is this. Previously a police dog was shot and gun fire exchanged in Detroit. The group the men possibly belonged to, has sworn violence if necessary to attain a Sharia law state within a country.

The police squad did not know of the "nice quiet inoffensive fellows". For all they knew they could have been met with fire arms. Anyway, they are in one piece- as are the two men.

Heard on the local Air Amerika radio station, he was a good guy, let the homeless sleep in his home. The FBI let the dog loose after him. He was shot 18 times, and the FBI cared more for the dog then him. Charges were all made up....

The dog was worth more than this guy.
