Sarah Palin fans are having a late-night release gathering at the Borders in Woodbury for her book, "Going Rogue: An American Life."
The book goes on sale at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, so the store expects customers to stay late on Monday night and hang out in the coffee bar, which is remaining open for the event. Not expected to be present is the former vice presidential candidate, who made her official RNC debut in St. Paul, where she wore clothing bought from the Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis.

...now this would be an interesting coast-to-coast trend.
“where she wore clothing bought from the Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis.”
No doubt a prelude to attacking her for spending at Neiman Marcus during a recession. After she was ripped by Letterman for wearing sensible clothes during the campaign.
We should be arranging these “parties” throughout the US! Let’s show the powers that be how WE spend OUR money!
It of course omits the part that the RNC bought the clothes not Sarah Palin.
If this is in Woodbury I may go... even though I have the book on order from Amazon. I live in Woodbury.
I have mine on order too...If there was a party locally I would go!
I ordered mine from Target. They and Walmart and Amazon are having a pirce war. 9 bucks and free shipping. couldn’t pass it up.
I should find out if they are doing the same thing at The Grove in Los Angeles, considering this is LA, I doubt it, but I will find it. That book store is HUGE. I hope when she goes on her book tour, she visits that one so I can come and meet her
The Minneapolis Red Star, staying true to form, could not resist injecting a little class warfare editorial rhetoric...
Ans, if
sahah’d have bought her clothes at,say, J C Penneys, she would have been panned for having no taste. Best to just ignore these cretins, and move on. The public “understands her.” amd that infuriates the left. Come to Dallas, and buy your clothes at the “real” Nieman Marcus.
We ordered via Amazon. Cheap.
‘Got yours?
I’m waiting till it comes out, then I’ll go get it at our local mom & pop bookshop. Can’t wait!!
I’m south of you in Orange County and would totally drive up to L.A. to meet her and get a book signed. She’s better than a frosty Cactus Cooler on a hot dry day, I tell ya.
Did she buy herself $540 Lanvin tennis shoes and a $5,950 VBH black alligator clutch purse like Michelle Obama did?
Sarah has said, she has never been in Neiman’s, Sak’s, or any upscale clothing store.....
AND if she had done so during the campaign, pictures of her shopping at Neiman’s or Sak’s would have been on MSNBC for a week...
The only pictures I have ever seen of her shopping, was when she went into WalMart to buy Trig some diapers. There she was, in line to pay, shaking hands with other shoppers, and two huge Secret Service guys are right with her.......that made me laugh.......
I have also seen video of her stopping at rest stops in the midwest, on the Straight Talk bus, and buying orange juice by the gallon. She also bought cups, and then she served the police and security guys first, then poured herself a cup.......she is somthin’.......
Pray more conservative Mothers awaken to the political reality of the commies called democrats, in power. Because if the Mothers do not save this nation, it is lost. The democrap party has dumbed down every segment in order to build a nation so feckless on an individual level that the federal oligarchy is welcomed, to control every aspect of life and rule everything from birth to burial. If Mothers, conservative mothers actually welcome that reality it will be the end of the Republic. If Mothers awaken to the actual History of America and the freedom inherent in a Constitutional Republic like our founders gave US, then there is a small sliver of hope left that we the people will retain our sovereignty and not become willing slaves to the democrap federal oligarchy now being put into place.
