The rabble-rousing Rev should give his daughter a sermon about road rage.

The Rev. Al Sharpton’s ex-wife and daughter were arrested last night after berating a pair of Harlem cops who pulled them over for running a red light in the wrong lane to get around their slow-moving, unmarked cruiser, sources told The Post.

Kathy Jordan, 53, and her daughter, Dominique Sharpton, 23, were handcuffed and hauled to a precinct, where the raging reverend’s daughter tried to no avail to get off the hook because of her family ties, the sources said.

They were issued desk appearance tickets before being set free.

The road rage incident began around 7:30 p.m. on West 110th Street and Eighth Avenue as Dominique became frustrated as she drove behind the crawling police vehicle, the sources said.

Sharpton honked her horn and tailgated the vehicle from the NYPD’s Housing Bureau before finally losing her cool.

Car ran over one of those critters in our neighborhood this morning. By mid-day it'd begun decaying and a truly gigantic buzzard showed up, landed on a lamp pole, and just sat there a couple of hours watching and waiting.

In the meantime several eagles and a couple of rather large hawks cruised by and began hunting the squirrel nests. It was kind of like one of those house to house searches made in wartime. Fur everywhere.

So Obama invites 'em over for beer. but can you imagine the size of the buzzard that's going to show up to check this one out.

Except for the rookie that happened to draw the short straw, most cops in Harlem are black. Stems from a protest by the Rev. Al many years ago.

NYPD officers are generally a pretty flexible and unflappable bunch, but they have their limits. In most places, the honking and tailgating would have gotten them arrested long before they had a chance to swerve across a double yellow line and speed through a red light to pass the police car. And in NYC, just honking carries a fat fine (if it didn't, nobody would ever have any peace and quiet).

Since it says this was an unmarked car, I suspect the officers were working undercover, and for that reason chose to ignore the illegal honking and tailgating, but when she did something that really risked causing an accident with serious injuries or fatalities (i.e. running a red light at 8th and 110th at 7:30 on a Friday evening), they decided it was time to uncover and deal with the perp before somebody got killed or maimed.

I have no doubt in my mind that The Honorable Reverend Sharpton will deal with this matter with the level of level-headed maturity that we've always come to expect from him.
