Starting to look a Sweep and not a Mop Tuesday for Dems ???
10/31/2009 | cruise_missile

Posted on 10/31/2009 4:30:12 PM PDT by cruise_missile

Obummer thought it was pretty cute to use analogy of a (socialist) mop last week. I think the analogy might be more like a capitalistic broom for what may be coming this Tuesday.

I can hear the dems shaking tonight on Halloween! And it isn't because it's Halloween.

I'm stoked.

Freepers thought please.

A sweep on Tuesday night would be great. It would nice practice for the sweeping that is going to be done one year later.

I read today on one of the numerous ny-23 threads the dems are bringing in “hundreds” of volunteers to help get the dem elected..

Any bets on how many of these will attempt to vote in that election, even though they don’t live there?

Here all these years I thought it was your "beeber" that was stunned!!!

Politicians should NEVER pick a fight with "the people!" Old Everett Dirksen, (R) Senator of IL used to say... "the more I feel the heat, the more I see the light!"

We must continue to turn up the heat and strike while the iron is hot to reshape (not reform) the government into a more perfect union as intended by the founders!!!

We must put teeth implants back into the constitutional republic scheme of things!!!

FreeRepublic.com is such a fantastic dental college!!! (we just haven't figured out how to make it painless yet)

Corzine will hold NJ. If the vote spread is within a million, the Dems there will find a way to “find” a bunch of lost votes that will put Corzine over the top. Count on it.

Two governorships: VA & NJ
Two special congressional elections: NY & CA
The entire VA House of Delegates

And I’m sure many local races across the country.

So okay....the pubs recruit gazillions of volunteers. Put twenty volunteers at each polling place. Be civil, but have cell cameras ready to take pics of the same voter returning over and over, that kind of thing. Also there is a rule that reps from both parties must be given a chance to observe....at least there is here in Delaware and most other places. Doesn’t do a whit of good if the pubs don’t get observers at every single polling place, trained and with a keen eye.

although, hey, in NY 23...the pubs might be mad. At any rate, this is the thought that always goes through my mind when I hear voter fraud. Why don’t the pubs flood those suspect areas with poll observers and volunteers with cameras to take pics and movies of suspect activity? You got one voter showing up at the same polling place over and over, get it on tape!

Moving on...I have been greatly excited all week about these upcoming elections. And I pray for my country every chance I get. I will pray at mass tomorrow because I really believe that a loss in Virginia, a given at this point, plus a loss in NJ...where the pubs should be out in full force, plus a real upset with this race in NY 23...I believe that will give those congress critters some real food for thought.

Already Boehner’s been out and about thank God somebody found his tanning booth. The pubs they don’t move until all is safe. The Dems are going to get a shot of fear too.

I think these upcoming elections will change the course of things to come should the pubs/conservatives run away with this thing.

And hooray for the pubbie base. They tried to ram that dem posing as a pub down our throats but everybody’s got a point, folks, everybody’s got a point.

I’d argue McCain was our point.

Either that scenario, or Corzie will pull a "Franken" and go court-shopping until some sloppy judge decrees that the unwashed masses 'deserve' Corzie and will overturn the election by simple decree.

I don’t know, but I’ve heard ACORN had to increase their credit limit at the US Post Office to handle their bulk mailing of fraudulent ballots. Obama personally approved the increase.

I still don't think Hoffman is going to win. I Think the supporters of Dede Whatshername will sit it out and the Acorn-assisted dems will pull out a victory. I wish it weren't so and I'd love to be wrong but that's how it looks to me.

NJ will be very close but, too, probably go to Corzine.

The dems are going to lose VA, of that I am certain.

But what do I know?

I don’t know what to make of this -

http://realclearpolitics.blogs.time.com/2009/10/31/a-partial-ppp-poll/

Apparently, PPP was in the middle of polling NY 23 race when Dede quit. Doug was up big, and continued strong all day.

More on PPP poll

http://publicpolicypolling.blogspot.com/2009/10/ny-23-polling-odyssey.html

At the time Dede quit:

Hoffman 45
Owens 26
Scozzafava 17

(Results unweighted)

And this tweet at about 6PM:

http://twitter.com/ppppolls

“Hoffman has polled consistently at 45-46% all day, Owens up a little since Scozzafava dropout but still doesn’t look close”

For what its worth.
