I want to personally thank Republican Dede Scozzafava for acting so selflessly today in the NY District 23 race. Now it's time to cross the finish line with Doug Hoffman so that he can get to work for District 23 and the rest of America.
With Congress poised to overhaul one-sixth of our economy with so-called health care “reform” (which is really a government takeover of health care) and with plans to enact a cap-and-tax bill just as our economy struggles to recover, Doug Hoffman will be a voice for fiscal responsibility and common sense in Washington.

Sarah is the winner in this race...
It’s all good. I had a feeling the second I wrote it people would confuse it. I knew about the Sarah’s endorsement the day it broke. I was talking about DeDe, still not sure if she has endorsed Hoffman or not

I read Dede’s concession statement, and it didn’t sound like a direct endorsement, but she said she was doing it for the party, so she dropped out in order not to split the vote. I think Sarah’s thanks directed at Dede is appropriate, even if Dede fails to directly endorse Hoffman. I for one am happy she dropped out. It is Sarah’s way to be gracious (it is an annoying weakness of Sarah).
while this is a lovely picture, I think it’s time we start to hold back on these images, as she will have to deal with the world, and all it’s leaders, and they will know already that she is both bright and beautiful...

People with class are often gracious...let’s all be thankful Madame President is both bright, beautiful and gracious.....it speaks well of her, and those who support her....
Sarah has a soft spot, but she seems to make it work. I think Dede will either endorse Hoffman or remain silent. I don’t think Dede would improve here career by backstabbing the Republicans at this point. The Republicans spent a lot of political capital on Dede, and if she turns on them, how willing are the Democrats going to be to support her, a failed politician.
