A search has been launched for a 50-year-old convicted rapist and suspect in the killings of six people whose bodies were found in and around a house in Cleveland, Ohio, police said Friday.

Google “Anthony Sowell” and you’ll see his pic.
Fox news has a pic up.
“Sowell was convicted for a 1989 rape for which he was imprisoned from 1990 to 2005, Stacho said.”
Why do the libs ever let these guys see the light of day?
I think that’s another guy. That guy was born in 1966 so he can’t be this 50 year old.
You’re right. I clicked on “images” and he doesn’t show up there yet.
NO need to look that hard and far -— he was sitting on his sister’s couch just a few hours ago.
Then his neighbor, at his request, drove him around for a while and then took him back to the couch ——— although she knew the cops were digging up bodies back at his own place.
Read the article. Amazing.
And by the way, is 15 years enough for forced rape.???
And did you see how LE responded to “reports of a half naked woman being forced out of an upstairs window”? but did nothing ... ?????????
Weird.
Great...another misunderstood serial killer on the loose.
No, I would say the smell is very unique, nothing like deer, dog, etc. Not one you would ever forget.
Dead humans have a very different oder. Hard to describe but it hard to get off your uniform. Sometimes it would stick in my nostrals for what seemed like days.
And that is one...cant inmagine what five would be like.
That is one experience I am glad that I have not had. Have you ever smelled a dead cow? It’s kinda worse than that steak you left in the frig and forgot to cook.
when I was a kid, a local market had a meat freezer that died. Instead of keeping the meat inside the locker until they could get rid of it properly, they threw it in a allyway behind the market until it was scooped. It was 90 degrees and it must have been about 500 pound of meat. The stench was stifling.
Sorry for broken link. Thought I had the picture.
She thought it was just the regular smell emanating from City Hall.
It is different..
Humans stink when they die.
"There's still a lot of opposition -- some criminologists, sociologists, and psychologists don't like psychopathy at all," Hare says. "I can spend the entire day going through the literature -- it's overwhelming, and unless you're semi-brain-dead you're stunned by it -- but a lot of people come out of there and say, 'So what? Psychopathy is a mythological construct.' They have political and social agendas: 'People are inherently good,' they say. 'Just give them a hug, a puppy dog, and a musical instrument and they're all going to be okay.' "
Read the whole thing, and this, too.
I believe you when you say humans smell differently but EVERYTHING stinks when it dies.
I've always written the politicians and newspapers asking why the names of these people are available to the public - parole boards especially. Never got an answer. They live in the shadows and will continue to release these animals back into society as long as they are insulated from the effects of their mistakes and the wrath of the public.
Yeah, I know, "fear of retribution", ad nauseum. Sorry Dude, that goes with the job. You gotta be held responsible for the decisions you make.
—[Sowell] is the most wanted man in Cleveland right now,” said police spokesman Lt. Thomas Stacho.—
NSS!
I read the links. I’m glad that I did. Thanks for ruining my day, but I’m glad you posted that.
What should really make you wonder is why this information isn’t more widespread or at least discussed.
Because voters would probably start applying the Hare test to politicians.
I mean he was a sex offender and in an area where there are six missing women. I was wondering why nothing was earlier when there were two missing.

Excellent! Bookmarking that to read later. Thanks...
Please note that the left has already tried to argue that Sarah Palin is a narcissist based on the DSM-IV definition but much of their "evidence" is based on the straw man caricature that they've painted of her, ignored evidence against their case, and their evidence, at best, makes a case for mild narcissism. The series of photos were Barack Obama has exactly the same smile from photo to photo, on the other hand, if legitimate, is troubling in this regard, as was the way he handled his grandmother's illness and death and the casual lie he told about how he met his wife.

"We got him," Sgt. Lori Boyd said, high-fiving people in the station. "Our guys got him!"
Police are so stupid. A concerned citizen pointed him out to you!
Local news is reporting LEO nabbed him.
Brilliant question!
I on the other hand believe people are inherently bad.
The evidence suggests that normal people are a mix of good and bad impulases (hence the common depicting of a person with an angel and devil sitting on their shoulders). What’s interesting is that it’s the cold rational utilitarian voice, in combination with base desires, that turns out to be the devil and it’s a visceral emotional revulsion to immoral acts that serves as the conscience and is the angel and it’s that angel that the psychopath is lacking. The evidence also suggests that if people were inherently psychopath bad that things would be far worse than they really are. I think it’s safer to say that people are inherently flawed and don’t consistently do the right thing.
People are inherently self centered. This can cause them to do bad things, or good things. True altruism is rare. We are socialized to do things that make us fit better into society. But, in our hearts is almost always all about us.
It’s more complicated than that. Normal people do have a natural pause before they are willing to kill people, for example, which is why armies now go through great pains to train soldiers to shoot first and think later because when given a choice, a lot of soldiers choose not to shoot their guns, even when it is in their self-interest to do so. Socialization doesn’t operate on a blank slate.
That’s not to say that people don’t consider their own self-interest, nor does it mean that they don’t favor their family and friends over strangers, but even that latter point is, psychologically, less a matter of calculated self-interest than moral distancing and identification. Psychopaths don’t have friends and treat their family with the same disregard that they treat everyone else (e.g., Karla Homolka drugging and accidentally killing her own system so Paul Bernardo could rape her). We know what true selfishness and a true disregard for others look like and it’s not normal.
That there is a distinct difference between individuals with no conscience (psychopaths), a weak conscience (narcissists), and normal individuals shows that all people do not have an equal disregard for well-being and interest of others and that if they really did, we’d all act like psychopaths. If you want to define self-interest so broadly that anything you feel you should do is out of self-interest because it’s the choice you like best, then you turn the claim into a tautology but a pointless one, since even true altruism becomes a matter of self-interest under that definition. I’m not a big fan of definitions that define meaningful concepts away. It’s why postmodernism doesn’t lead anywhere good.
I think you are assuming people raised in Western cultures. That is not the natural state of man.
someone who has only been dead a few days and has been kept cold smeels pretty bad when you open them up. definitely different than an animal, but kinda close to a maggot-covered piece of roadkill.
however, i once had to work on a guy who had been dead for about a month in a hot apartment. i dont think it's possible for a worse smell...ever. it was absolutely horrendous.
I am curious as to why a human body would smell worse that a rotten cow. If you didn’t know if you were smelling a dead human or a dead cow I wonder if you would be able to tell the difference. You are a city person )I’m guessing), have you ever smelled a dead cow?
I will let you have the last word. I disagree with your basic assumption.
