Rights activists in the northern Mexican border city of Tijuana have hung 5,100 small white crosses on the fence straddling the U.S. frontier to commemorate migrants who have died trying to cross.
The protest coincides with preparations for Mexico's Nov. 1 Day of the Dead holiday. The crosses represent the number of migrants estimated to have died in the 15 years since the United States toughened border security.
The Coalition for the Defense of Migrants also erected a traditional floral offering for the dead.
The Mexican government estimates about 350,000 of its citizens migrate to the U.S. annually.

The crosses represent the number of migrants estimated to have died in the 15 years since the United States toughened border security. BS, at one time if you got caught crossing the border in the bad lands you were coyote food and the illegals knew so they stayed home.

Can we put up crosses on the American side to mark the number of Americans killed by Mexican illegals through drunk driving or homicide?

Not a bad idea. This could be a joint effort. They can place them 10 feet apart and we'll attach the chain link fence to them.
Just kiddding!!! It's a joke! You know, a wisecrack. Sheesh. Get a life. Chill out. Grow a funny bone.

How many crosses would we need to commemorate all those in the US who have died at the hands of illegal alien murderers, drug dealers, drunken drivers, unqualified drivers, etc.? Quite a large number over 15 years.

The Mexican government estimates about 350,000 of its citizens migrate to the U.S. annually.Does that include the young women that are smuggled across and forced into the sex slavery trade?
Or is there a separate estimate for that?

Can we put up crosses on the American side to mark the number of Americans killed by Mexican illegals through drunk driving or homicide? Indeed not, the illegal alien activists will litigate you because they'll insist you're a racist and your actions are hate speech. The deck is stacked clearly against US citizens. Our courts, politicians and some on our dear leader's staff have an unwritten obligation to appease Mexico itself and their activists. US citizens have been sued by illegals for tormenting them and they (the illegals) have won sizeable settlements from US citizens (16 illegals sued a Tucson rancher for example).
To: Saije
They should put up a cross for each death related to gangs, drug lords, corrupt police and corrupt politicians.

How about they place crosses on the Mexican side that depict all the murder and drug war deaths? Then tie them together with chains to represent the chains of poverty placed on them by their own corrupt and incompetent government.
With this - we'll have one hell of a nice fence to enforce our border laws and perhaps with access cut off... they will seek to establish liberty in their own nation so they can finally rise to their God given potential and stop debasing themselves by groveling for the scraps from someone else's table!

I’m betting 5,100 is a fabricated, inflated number. Certainly the 350,000 is fabricated and deflated. More white guilt to be enjoyed by all...
It will never fixed, so we must adjust. It is too late to stop. We have no choice. History moves forward as this will become a third world country along with the rest of the American continents.

Of course those don’t count. It wouldn’t do for Mexicans and their lib allies to remind the world about their draconian own immigration laws.
Just like I always get a kick from those Azatlan morons. If they want that crap, then they should consider giving the Yucatan Peninsula back to Central America.

350,000 ‘migrants’ per year x 15 years = 5,250,000
5,100/5,250,000 = 00.00097
Not quite 1/1,000th of one percent died during that journey. Hate to be harsh, but any who died on that short journey died due to poor planning or carelessness. Hardly a circumstance that justifies commemorations and claims that anyone’s ‘rights’ have been violated.
