VANCEBURG, Ky. (WSAZ) -- The Lewis County Sheriff has arrested a Vanceburg woman on charges of criminal abuse of child.
The sherriffs office says Roberta Hobbs, 54, was arrested Tuesday after investigators received a call from Social Services.
According to a news release, Hobbs is accused of using duct tape to bind a child with special needs for long period of time, while living in deplorable conditions.
The release says that child and two other children have been removed from the home.
The sheriffs office says further charges are pending in the case.
