SAN FRANCISCO, CA --- House Speaker Nancy Pelosis approval rating among Californians is a measly 34 percent. Forty-four percent of the states voters disapprove of her performance. Her congress receives only 23 percent approval, while two thirds of California voters disapprove of their own delegation.
Within her own party, Pelosi has only 51 percent favorable rating.
Yet there she is, arrogant and unflappable. Refusing to let reporters into the ceremony introducing her latest health care reform legislation, beefing up the public option in her plan, while celebrating what she calls an historical event.
What is it about San Francisco politicians, from Pelosi to Newsom to Supervisor Campos.

Nancy Lugosi is in her own little world.
May she be sitting on a very wet cliff when SF’s “Big One” occurs.
Pelosi can read polls. I think I see fear in Pelosi’s face.
I think Pelosi is willing to sacrifice the Blue Dogs and yes possible control of the House in 2012 to get Obama Care and Cap and Trade passed.
I don’t think she is bright enough to know she should be worried. Or, she knows this is the end of the line for her and will take one for the team to enact a historic socialist piece of legislation. BTW, I guess her husband will be moving more investments off shore to avoid Minimum Wage and Healthcare tax rules. So the way I see it, peelousi wins either way.
Art Bruzzone used to be head of the San Francisco Republicans. Nice guy. I was a Republican volunteer a few times when he was the head.
